“Downtown Vancouver Massagevancouver.org”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

A friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a massage before beginnning our exploration of Vancouver, BC. We found Cristy Chandler of massagevancouver.org with her spa located in the Scotia Bank building. Cristy was joined by Jessica who has her own foot spa at Oasis Massage Studio. Total relaxation at a very reasonable cost. Our appointments were easily set up through email. Both specialists were excellent and very in sync with working with us.

“Great place to spend a weekend..even if you live in Seattle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Great town, very clean..vibrant with something to do for everyone. We love the wide streets, the glass buildings by the waterfront. The last 2 times[once by speedboat, once by train] we decided that driving there is not worth it..enjoy the boat or the train ride as the public transportation system is great. The only snag was the "eclectic" crowd in Gas Park...a little to aggressive on asking for $.
Maybe we caught a bad day.. otherwise not to much different from the crowds by the Pike Street park[less the pot in plain view]

“great place to spend the day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Downtown Vancouver is a great way to spend a day. You can go to Gastown which has many cool little shops and the cobblestone streets give it a warm feeling of Vancouver's history. Have lunch in one of the little bistros and some hot roasted nuts from a street vender, which are the best I've ever tasted.

You can't go downtown without seeing Chinatown and visit their shops. Feels like a piece of China in the middle of the city.

There are wonderful restaurants, lots of shopping, art galleries, Vancouver Library, beautiful buildings and you can even take a break at English Bay.

The only caution is when walking in areas, such as east Hastings its better to dress down and don't wear flashy valuables. This is the area where a lot of homeless and drug dealers are doing business.
