After walking around Gastown for most of the day my wife and I came in to Tuc for a bite and a drink. We were greeted by James behind the bar. Over the next few hours we had our first taste of his AMAZING spicy caesar (seriously best Ive ever had), and the kitchens very well-made food. Ill be honest, we dropped in for a drink and after a chilly rainy morning of walking I was in need of some hot comfort food, and for some reason wanted shepherds pie, so I was planning on actually going a few doors over to the Irish place to see what they had once we were done with our drinks. James heard this and insisted I try the one from their own kitchen. . . . oh my god was it good. Also we had what they call "pork belly cracklings", a sort of super thick cubed bacon if bacon was pure fat covered in special in-house sauce. . . nom nom nom. Needless to say we stayed till we were very good and happy, enjoyed some really great talks with James and another patron, and added another superb memory to our Vancouver trip. This place is a must do simply for the "pork crackling" and James' spicy caesar . . . seriously go to there now!
