It is clean, relatively spacious (but pokey bathrooms) and conveniently located beside the park (but not much else). Think basic and white and linoleum. Really perfect for your inner cheap spartan. But its not "nice". There is nothing that will excite you about Times Square.
Cons: The entrance feels like you are trying to get into some kind of gambling den. Apparently the lane side is quieter but I was woken by an industrial sized garbage truck at 7:30 am
So if you are planning to be out and about all day and looking for a clean place to sleep and a small kitchen for breakfast or an easy family meal ... ok. If you are looking for something special or romantic... you will feel like you are at a motel 8.
