I give this hotel a perfect 10; it has all I look for when sleeping away from home:

-cleanliness, from the health club to the seams of the mattress
-location, it cannot be better placed right downtown and close to the seawall but tucked away from noisy streets
-price, for how sophisticated it was, the price was a fresh breeze (at least in the winter

The extras (such as the pool overlooking the mountains, and the old-school service, and the modern yet sophisticated decor) was an unexpected, very pleasant surprise.

If you can afford the price, stay here, you will not regret it.

Whitin a 5 minute walk you'll be at the convention centre, float plane terminal, bustling gastown, and shopping district.

If you get a room with a view, you'll feel there's no better place in Vancouver.

Stayed one night before a conference. Immediate response to my request for a late night check-in. Arrived late (1:30am), good service to let me in the underground parking. Quick check-in. Nice suite facing the harbor with large windows to enjoy the view. Quiet rooms and comfy bed, slept well. Lots of hot water and water pressure for shower.

The room was big with a separate sitting area and 2flat screen TVs. The harbor view added to the well lit room and inspired to use the gym and pool which for hotel standards, are certainly tops. Coming back for sure.

Stayed for 3 nights for a conference and definitely liked the central location. My room was very nice, enjoyed the kitchenette and the free internet. Everyone was very helpful and I was very impressed by the gym. Very new equipment and the view is certainly a bonus. Only downside was that it closes at 10pm, even earlier on weekends. But it is a very nice facility!
