“Great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

Stayed here 6 nights and enjoyed the stay , front desk staff are very friendly and helpful also the restraunt staff were very nice and happy to chat. breakfast could do with some refrigeration for yogurt milk chesse etc would be a nice touch. Having the Pub attached is also vey useful just to pop down for a drink and a cheap meal. The room had a nice view of the harbor but was a little noisy from the large air conditioning units outside window.

Room Tip: If you want a quite room ask for one facing north but will miss view of harbour maybe.

The staff at the front desk were extremely welcoming and couldn't have done more to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and light with a great view over Vancouver Harbour. It was situated close to many popular amenities.
Our teenage boys were very impressed by the Aston Martins in the entrance hall!!

Room Tip: We had a one bedroom suite with harbour view, it was lovely.

I stayed here with my 6 year old son, I got a great deal for this hotel otherwise it would have been out of my price range. We were made to feel very welcome by desk staff. Room was great, very spacious with kitchenette and big bathroom. Great view from room straight down West Hastings Street. We both commented that the beds were very comfy, we loved the chocolates, water and ice each day. Staff were helpful again when we checked out, the maid radioed reception to say I had left my phone charger and one of the desk staff went up to the 9th floor to get it for me. Would recommend this hotel, good location with Gas Town, Waterfront a short walk away.

This hotel is very close to Canada Place, cruise ship terminal, as well as Waterfront Station, which is a direct line to/from Airport. It is also a short walk to historic Gastown,as well as shops and restaurants. The rooms are very comfortable. Free wi fi was great. Didn't get breakfast package, but coffee shops nearby.

I was very impressed with the location and how quiet the room, hotel and the location being close to the harbor. Liked the gym and pool facilities with a lot of nice well thought out amenities. Appreciated the 2 daily complementry bottles of water, ice and chocholates. The wireless internet worked fast and the room was well apointed. A 5 star stay indeed with 2 thumbs up from me. Being on a 5 day course this hotel was a welcome rest from many other hotels I have stayed at world wide. This is the first hotel I was not disturbed from my sleep by other guests or children running around the place. Will highly recomend this hotel to others in the future, it is a gem. Personel at the front dest went the extra mile to ensure I even had a limo at a very reasonable price when a taxi van could not pick up our group for a reservation to the airport. Look forward to staying with you again.

Dear Mark P,

Thank you for a wonderful review, Mark. We do try to add touches to enhance our guests stay and the bottled water, chocolates and ice are one f those.

What I really liked about your review, was your acknowledgement of how quiet this hotel is. It is the perfect corporate hotel for exactly the reasons you say. Many do not realize that by staying in the hotel, the guest has the privlege of using a private members business club. You can stay in the hotel and entertain your clients within the Club.

We truly look forward to welcoming you back to Terminal City Club.

Thank you again for taking the time to review our hotel, club and services.

Sincerely,
Noni Bruyere

This is a hotel that has been tarted up with all the trimmings, but beneath the lavishness lurks an unpleasant experience. The smell hit us when we opened the room... like rotting cauliflower or cabbage.... very odd... the next morning we were throwing up... the flu?... then we noticed the ceiling was bubbled with water damage, and black mold appearing along the ceiling line... night #2 the ceiling starts leaking, and we had to sleep with the windows wide open on a very hot summer evening because the smell was so bad... other guests in our party also were getting ill... we finally clued in that when we left the building we started to feel better, and when we returned, we all had to take gravol... when we reported this to the front desk...they had nothing to say. As beautiful as the hotel was, I would never stay there again.

Dear t9jorda,

Thank you very much for your review as we immediately placed the guestroom out-of-order and investigated the situation. There was water/condensation leaking in a spot on the ceiling in the hallway. We have gone into the ceiling and it has now been repaired and is drying.

We are sorry to have learned about this at the end of your stay. Had we known, we would have moved you to an alternate room immediately.

Again, we are very sorry you were disappointed.

Sincerely,
Noni Bruyere

We had a fabulous three day stay here. The hotel was a little taste of luxury. Rooms were really good size and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Great fitness centre and pool (once you could work out how to get there in the lift!) overlooking the harbour. Located within easy walking distance of the shops, gas town, harbour and not far from Stanley Park. We would definitely come back to this hotel.
