The room was clean and functional, but nothing outstanding. No free daybreak breakfast at this location (even though it was on the advertiser in the elevator)--breakfast is available in their restaurant starting at $6.95.

Stayed 1 night pre - cruise. Location and price made this a desirable selection. Early booking from US was no problem. Check-in was fine. We ended up with a small room but it served us well. A lone friend with us got a much larger room but given the short stay, was not a problem. It was clean and comfortable. The on site restaurant (purchased meal) was convenient for breakfast but we learned after walking the neighborhood we could have gotten better variety and prices within a block or 2. Unless in a rush or bad weather, look for a more interesting breakfast alternative.
If you need the shuttle to the ship, pay attention as there are limited transfer slots during the times you'll want them. This escaped out attention so we ended up having option for 2:30 shuttle despite us asking for and getting no better than a noon checkout. The lobby is quite small with little room for waiting, especially with luggage. We opted to just walk the 3 blocks to ship upon noon checkout. Would use them again.

Dear Valued Guest,
Thank you, very much for your recent stay with us
We are very pleased that you found our location and price a desirable selection for your overnight stay to go on the cruise next day.
We are sorry that you got a small at check in, and the reason being the hotel has been here since 1918, and we have some rooms that are small, and some are big, as the hotel was built like that.
We are pleased that room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant on site is very convenient for our hotel guest , plus the prices are very reasonable.
We are sorry that you could not use our shuttle service , as it is a very favorite with our hotel guests to use it, and it is free that works on first come first serve.
We appreciate the review about our hotel, and thank you, for staying and hope to serve you again in the near future.
Thank you, and have a great day.

My husband and I stayed there May 8th and found it to be a very unpleasant stay. The parking is roughly 2 blocks away and when we went to park, we were informed by the attendant ( who spoke very softly and hard to understand ) to park in 'Reserved " spaces which we did. At 7:00 the next morning we got a phone call from the front desk informing us we were parked in the wrong spot. So off we go to move the vehicle. Now the room....very small, air conditioning (if it's working which ours wasn't) shuts off every time you leave the room. Needless to say, when we returned after being out all afternoon, our room was hot. Layout of the bathroom is a joke. You have roughly 2 inches from the sink to the tub. Don't back up or you will hit the tub and fall backwards and do major damage to yourself. Will stay on the street before we stay there again!

Room Tip: Pay the extra and stay at a better hotel!!!!!

Dear Valued Guest,
Thank you, for your recent stay with us, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered while staying with us.
I am very sorry about the attendant giving you the wrong information to park the car in the reserved spot, and we have brought this concern to the parking company so that it does not happen again to our guest when they go park their cars.
As the hotel was built in 1918, it did not have a parking space, and that is one of the reasons we have to contract a separate lot out for our guests’ cars two blocks away from the hotel.
In regards to the air conditioning, the hotel prides itself on achieving a 3 green key rating from the Green Key Program. Therefore, this property endeavors to save energy whenever possible, thus we have installed motion sensors to save energy from the air conditioners when the room is vacant.
I am sorry about the bathroom being too small, as with any older hotel, built in 1918 it is very hard to make any changes with small bathrooms.
It is our hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience during your stay and hope you to serve you in the future.
Thank you, and have a great day.
