“Christmas Day Present”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We stayed here on Christmas Day. The management and all the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous. They found many little ways to make our stay as easy and relaxing as possible, and had helpful advice and services to make up for the closures of most places on Christmas Day. At the end of our stay our taxi cab was late. We showed up earlier than our check in (MUCH earlier) and not only did they get us in our rooms, but they offered the breakfast for that morning also. We checked out late and they found a way to let us linger a bit longer (we were travelling by foot with our luggage, so this was very appreciated). They offered their driver service to take us well outside of the usual zone and called to tell the taxi company that we had left. It was one of my best experiences in a hotel and I would gladly return.

The hotel is located in a prime area in downtown Vancouver, with tons of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment nearby. The hotel is well accommodated: the complimentary breakfast was of a good quality, and the exercise room is modern and has incredible views (from the 16th floor). The price was reasonable and we found our rooms to be clean.

I stayed here in November for the Paul McCartney concert and was very impressed. We booked a king room with a kitchenette. The room was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and all the gadgets we needed for the weekend.

Bottled water, fresh fruit and towels were a nice touch outside the beautiful hot tub on the top floor. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was very good, both hot and cold options and the staff was really moving to ensure the food was constantly stocked with a very full hotel.

On the night of the concert the staff was great at ensuring only guests were in the hotel and using the fascilities, I was very impressed with this. The morning we checked we had a late flight so the staff ensuring our bags were checked at the front so we could explore the city without lugging our things around. They provided us with bikes and helmets and we had a great day roaming around the city until our flight.

I was overwhelmed at how the staff went out of their way for us with such a full hotel. The day we checked out Bruce Springstein was performing at the Expo centre and they were fully booked again but the staff still made us feel welcome once our stay was complete and we were killing time until our flight.

Highly recommended!

Room Tip: A room on the far side from the studium high up, will help with any noise.

Thoroughly enjoyed the room design which was like having a corner room that gave you 2 windows allowing more light into the room.
Slept well, heard almost no noise from the downtown area which can be a busy during a game night and enjoyed the light show at night from BC Place.
A few nice rare options here at a Hampton you normally don't have, a privacy/housekeeping button vs. the door cards, parking cards at the elevator to remind you where you parked in the secured garage and an upscale breakfast area.
Would recommend this Hampton Inn in downtown Vancouver.

We stayed here for one night but could easily of stayed more, it was clean, the staff really helpful and room was bigger than expected. The location is excellent and we got a lift to the sky train to get to the airport. The breakfast is great, fresh waffles...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 3 nights, at 2 different times, in August of this year. We were going on the Rocky Mountaineer train trip and that company booked us into this hotel as a part of our package through them. When we first arrived at the Hampton, it was late at night as our flights had been delayed throughout that day. The front desk was still welcoming to us and we ended up in a corner room on a higher floor of the hotel and had a nice view of the downtown area. The room was very clean and tidy. Since space in downtown Vancouver seemed tight as it was, that also went for the hotel and it's rooms as the room itself was a bit "compact", but it was still a nice room and since we were at the end of a hallway and on a corner, it was quiet and peaceful for us. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel before leaving on the Rocky Mountaineer and the first morning we went down to breakfast at the free buffet, we were down there before it even opened (we were there at 5:30AM and the breakfast buffet opened at 6AM) but we were still able to have breakfast and it was good. Overall the front desk staff was pleasant and accomodating for us and we would definitely stay at this hotel if ever in Vancouver again.

Room Tip: A room on a higher floor and at the end of the hallway was very nice for us.

This hotel was recommended by a colleague, and it is one of the nicest Hampton Inn's I have visited. The location is perfect for many restaurant and entertainment options. The exercise room is on the 16th floor and provides a lot of options including free weights with a spectacular view. Breakfast offered more options than most Hamptons. The pillows are also very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice place and super convenient if you're attending an event at BC Place. They were extremely busy due to a Paul McCartney concert, but everything ran smoothly. Fast check in, easy parking, great room with a view directly onto BC Place...very exciting considering the event. The restaurant....well, that's another story.....
