My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 3 nights, at 2 different times, in August of this year. We were going on the Rocky Mountaineer train trip and that company booked us into this hotel as a part of our package through them. When we first arrived at the Hampton, it was late at night as our flights had been delayed throughout that day. The front desk was still welcoming to us and we ended up in a corner room on a higher floor of the hotel and had a nice view of the downtown area. The room was very clean and tidy. Since space in downtown Vancouver seemed tight as it was, that also went for the hotel and it's rooms as the room itself was a bit "compact", but it was still a nice room and since we were at the end of a hallway and on a corner, it was quiet and peaceful for us. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel before leaving on the Rocky Mountaineer and the first morning we went down to breakfast at the free buffet, we were down there before it even opened (we were there at 5:30AM and the breakfast buffet opened at 6AM) but we were still able to have breakfast and it was good. Overall the front desk staff was pleasant and accomodating for us and we would definitely stay at this hotel if ever in Vancouver again.
