We had to spend a night before going & a night after coming back from Mexico here in Vancouver. Because we live on the Island, the ferry & plane connections do not jive.
Everyone that we encountered at this hotel were so friendly. They go above & beyond the call of duty. Rather than us taking a cab to a Chinese restaurant, the manager drove us in her car because she was just getting off work. We had to be at the airport by 5:00 am. They gave us a breakfast bag to take along with us. Their continental breakfasts even include sausage patties, waffles, muffins, toast, scrambled eggs and much much more. This is our 3rd stay here.

We’d booked a cross Canada train/hotel package which included 1 night in Vancouver and gave us a choice of two hotels. Having read reviews on both we selected this one and extended the package by 8 more nights to cover one night prior to a cruise and then the remainder of our time in Vancouver. We’re really pleased that we chose this hotel. Service at reception was great, early check in after the cruise and late check-out before the train trip were no problem. An anomaly with our check-out date was pleasantly handled and quickly rectified. Both rooms we were given were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary with a selection of breads, pastries and cereals plus a small choice of hot dishes. The location is good, the rooms we were given faced the BC Stadium but there was no noise problem. Shops, supermarkets, a variety of restaurants are nearby. SkyTrain stations and most of Vancouver’s attractions are within walking distance. We used the complimentary shuttle service twice and this worked well for us. Thank you Hampton Inn, if we ever return to Vancouver we’ll know where to stay.

This is a good location in the part of Vancouver that is close to lots of newer restaurants. It's located close to the beautiful Vancouver Library and the football stadium. Most things we went to was within walking distance. We had turned our car in so we did not have to deal with parking. We rented a car for the day when we went to some of the distance sights. The rooms were good size and had wifi in the room. The breakfasts were especially good. We have had good experiences with Hampton Inns. There was a building being constructed next door so we were able to see a construction crane being erected. The construction noise was not too bad.

I am in Vancouver monthly, always stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites, most often on business, occasionally with family. Appereciate the secured parking, friendly staff, excellent service and wonderful hot/cold breakfast, included in the price.
The hotel is a short walk to rogers Arena and across the street from BC Place. Located on Robson Street, very short walk to wonderful shopping and Pacific Centre mall. Easy access to the Cruise Centre at Canada Place.
