“Many ways to experience it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Paddle board, kayak, Aqua bus, boat, walk the parameter( both sides) Granville Island, jog or bike. The views are all different but all equalling interesting. Check out the house boats and the condos over looking the inlet.

“False Creek is a true gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

On a hot sunny day in Vancouver, BC, there's nothing more enjoyable than a walk along the seawall on the north side of False Creek, which is an ocean inlet that separates downtown from the south side of the city.
Dotted along the creek are beautiful parks, attractive condos, and ferry docks where you can catch tiny passenger ferries for a five-minute crossing to a variety of attractions on the other side, including popular Granville Island Market and Science World.
The inlet is filled with small marinas and there is a lot of boat traffic to watch — everything from small yachts to kayakers and even paddle boarders.
The ferries run every few minutes, so bide your time and make sure to choose one that has open windows. You'll be riding almost at the water's level, so lean out into the breeze to enjoy the experience. The views are breathtaking.
Buy a day pass ($15) and you can ride the ferries all day, from one dock to another, getting off to explore each neighbourhood. It's like a day's mini cruise!

“Luxury Marina”

This is a very bustling and busy waterfront area. The marina holds some splendid craft and is interspersed with busy ferry routes surrounded by many food places.

“Ferry to Granville Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We took the ferry across from our hop on hop off bus tour to Granville Island. The ferry arrived promptly and was a quick and scenic trip across the water.

“Relaxing Day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Feel free to visit my blog for more pictures on vancouver and on this false creek boat ride:
http://keeewei.blogspot.sg/2013/07/vancouver-part-1.html

Be it Aquabus or False Creek cruise, pick one and travel either from granville island to vancouver downtown or vice versa. You get to see modern vancouver yet there's tranquility and serenity. The waters are calm and if you are lucky like me, we get to see a cloud rainbow. It's a tat bit pricey if you are going for 1 stop only. My suggestion is to plan to take at least 3 stops. Regardless of the number of stops, the price is the same.
