I stumbled upon Barclay House when a hotel nearby holding a convention was full. Now, if I attend the convention again next year, I will most certainly stay at Barclay House. It was a delightful place, and all the rooms lovingly furnished. The breakfasts were excellent, and I will remember John asking in the evenings if I would like a glass of (complimentary) champagne.

John, Art and Dennis were very attentive, and great to chat with about the house and the areas around the house.

Definitely a recommended spot!

My husband, daughter and I stayed at Barclay House last weekend. We booked two rooms, The Peak and THe Beach, and both were delightful. J.J. and Derrick were informative, accommodating, yet discrete hosts. The breakfasts were excellent and the cookies left in the rooms each night were gobbled up instantly. The location is fabulous. A must stay destination in Vancouver!! We will be back.

The Barclay House is set on a beautiful street near down town Vancouver. Everything is in walking distance. You are greeted with a smile and fancy beverage, fresh cookies on the bed. The bedding is all white which is the only kind I will sleep on when away from home due to cleanliness. I feel so calm and happy when staying here. The staff are amazing and make you feel special, anything you need they will help with. the breakfast is delicious and they will accomodate special diets. The Barclay House is "the" only B&B I will stay at in Vancouver. Thank you for our wonderful stays.

I had just landed from a long haul flight and felt like a princess the minute I entered Barlcay House. The staff were very professional, friendly and attentive without being intursive. The perfect B&B blend of indulgence with homliness, attention with privacy and of coures the food was wonderful. So much better than a hotel. I was visiting my old stomping ground and it was the perfect location, the real Vancouver feel of the West End. Handy access to everything with no traffic noise. I would love to have been able to spend a week there! I stayed in the Peak Room and would do again. Cozy, but still spacious and all the little touches that make such a difference. Thank you all for making it such a great stay.
