We generally stay at the Pan Pacific or Fairmont but this trip we chose to do something different and stay at the Metrpoltan. Location is excellent, rates are reasonable, rooms clean and comfortable.
We will definately return.
Leah in sales made our trip a memorable one by addressing many details we had not even thought of. She is clearly an expert in her field and I highly recommend her being your contact for packages etc.
David, the concierge, also went above and beyond expectations and took care of sll of our dinner reservations, event travel etc.

Got a nice Hotwire price on this hotel for a weekend on Vancouver and it turned out to be a wonderful stay. Excellent location, close to transit, shopping and services. Staff was attentive and well trained and treated the guests extremely well. The room was well appointed and clean with a nice view from the balcony. Nice to be able to open a window for a change. Great value, great service, great staff makes a great hotel

I stayed at the Met November 11 to the 17th. Had a wonderful experience. The rooms are very clean with nice decor. The hotel staff is very kind and accommodating. The location is perfect, near tons of shopping and restaurants. What I liked the most about the hotel is the rooms came with balconies which was a great feature to have. Was refreshing to be able to go out on the balcony in the early morning and have coffee out there. The hotel had a boutique feel to it. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had an amazing stay at The Met. We were in a Junior Suite which connected to a Deluxe/Luxury King room. The rooms were clean and spacious. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel may be small but we were treated like VIP guests :) It was my dad's birthday and a huge cookie and slice of delicious cake was waiting for us at our suite c/o Diva restaurant.The location of this hotel is amazing as it is in the heart of downtown. 5-7 minute walk to Robson, near convenient stores and sky train stations. Although parking is expensive they have packages which includes free parking which is very rare for hotels located in downtown Vancouver. I will most definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time I visit Vancouver.
