My husband and I take food tours as a way of seeing a new city! It is a wonderful way to see the sights and learn some interesting things about the city we are in. In Vancouver BC, Kendall // Vancouver Food Tour" was our incredible food tour guide! She was awesome! Funny, and interesting, Kendall took us to places we would have never tried on our own. We would have never even found the gems that Kendall showed us. We had a terrific time. It was well worth our time and money. I recommend this tour very highly! Not to be missed!

“Fabulous Tour of Gastown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

I can't speak highly enough for the wonderful tour Carlos provided for us. Due to an unfortunate mix up in the ticketing system, our group of three almost ended up with a no-show for a prepaid tour. Thanks to Carlos and his very impressive effort, we were provided with a 5 star culinary tour that we will remember for years to come. His knowledge coupled with the delicious food and beverage offerings resulted in a memorable experience of all that Gastown has to offer. We learned so much and look forward to our return. Thank you Carlos!

“Do this early in your stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

Food Tours in new (to us) cities are usually good, this one was great. The guide, Cassandra was incredibly knowledgeable and just plain fun.

The restaurants she selected were very diverse in terms of both food and libations. We will be returning to a couple. We also enjoyed our fellow foodies. I don't think we would have found any of these places on our own. Having the Caribbean "Dark and Stormy" for the first time was an AHA! experience that we will take home and share with friends this summer. SALT, a wine bar, had not only unique wines, but unique pairings also, we will return some leisurely afternoon. And "cold tea" in a Chinese restaurant with just plain decadent dessert (for which we barely had room) added to the total experience. We thought this tour was an extremely good value and highly recommend it to any Foodie.

“Food and Beverage tour Gastown in Vancouver”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

We only had one day in Vancouver before we departed on our cruise to Alaska and wanted a tour that would give us an overview of the downtown Vancouver area. This tour was a perfect way to experience Gas town. We were able to book a private tour with Carlos who is the owner of the business. We started with a Caribbean restaurant with jerk chicken and samboosas. Included in this tour is also alcoholic drinks and we had a ginger drink with coconut at this stop. Our next stop was on a alley where we would definitely not have ventured into but found a great wine bar. We sampled three wines with a variety of cheese and meats to complement the wines. Our third stop was a pub where we sampled three beers with cheese and smoked fish. The last stop was a Chinese restaurant but it had food that was not the norm for Chinese. We had a cold tea that was very refreshing and different. The food was also unusual but very good. We also had a dessert here which was excellent. During all these stops Carlos was informative and entertaining. What is nice about a food and drink tour is that you try food and drinks that you would normally not try. All the food and drinks were excellent and we would order them again. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vancouver.

“Eclectic mix of menus & Gastown Venues”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

Carlos did a great job with the meet & great. As we were the only couple outside of a large family celebrating a birthday, it was initially a bit awkward, but all worked out. Carlos worked around my no beer, no gluten issues which I greatly appreciated. My only negatives had to do with Gastown itself. The openness of hookers, dealers, homeless & beggars does not make for a relaxing evening, & I'm far from timid.
