“Charming historic hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We stayed for 5 nights mid October and would not change a thing. The nice thing about this hotel is it's location. Centrally located to all the fantastic things Vancouver has to offer. The hotel is small (only 60 rooms) which makes the service that much more exceptional. We walked to Gastown, Yaletown, and restaurants near the water. All the shopping you need is just steps out your door. We started our days with an amazing free breakfast every morning. The rooms were very nice, plenty of space to put your things out of the way. The Canada Line is a couple of blocks away and brings you directly to the airport. This hotel is a win, win, win! Look forward to going back next year and staying at the St. Regis Hotel. No worries about internet because they provide that and free long distance calls as well. Lori & Jerry

One night stay on a Friday night was all you would expect, service and staff were lovely, helpful and personable. The room was small but perfect, I loved the heated bathroom floor and roomy shower. I'm fussy about my bed and it was the highlight of my stay, perfect pillows and very comfortable.

My only advice, if you are a light sleeper I would consider staying elsewhere especially on the weekends. The road noise wasn't so noticable to me as others mentioned, but footsteps above me, slamming room doors at all hours, coughing next door, cleaning staff chatting in the hallway on a Saturday morning was enough to keep me tossing and turning.

Stayed here for a couple of nights mid October - what a great find! Central downtown location and a couple of minutes walk to the Skytrain which takes you directly to the airport.
The hotel room was spotless and comfortable with free wifi and local & international phone calls included too. Breakfast was generous with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend & will return again.

Beautiful older hotel. Bathrooms were amazing. Rooms were older but still updated with modern amenities. Great beds too. Concierge gave us excellent directions to restaurants nearby. He also gave us very specific public transportation instructions. Difficult to unload baggage on road and small elevators. Excellent breakfast with fast service. Hotel was not very busy when we stayed. Quiet hotel. Would definitely go back.

Stayed at the St. Regis the first week in October 2014....This is a great little gem....3 blocks from the Burrard St. train stop....beautiful room and easy walking to everywhere....I love that this is not one of those hotels with 100's of rooms....plus the breakfast downstairs is included and delicious....working for an airline...I know a little boutique hotel when I see it....and this is one.

We've stayed here twice for games and initially chose the St. Regis because of the proximity to the Railway Club where our festivities occur.

The service is great, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, the made-to-order breakfasts rock. The attached lounge has great food, drink and service. The steakhouse is spendy but worth every penny you are willing to shell out.
