“It's also called Little Mounain - right across from Van Dusen Gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

In middle Vancouver -its a moutnain - resovoir - flowers and plants - including palm trees - a memorial to Wallenberg - up and down - the best view of all of Vancouver - where Clinton and Yeltsin met in their famous restaurant ....... a gem - also has free tennis courts, three par gold course, rose gardens, Moore sculputres (on my profile), Tai Chi.... bridges - nothing like it in the world!

“Fantastic Van View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

What a wonderfully planned and beautiful walking park from the micro garden designs to the macro views of Vancouver. No matter the season it suggest something new every time. I look forward to returning in the winter to renew the experience and enjoy the scenery amidst the genteel atmosphere of the on site "Seasons" restaurant. Excellent value!

“Beautiful and free!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The park contains gorgeous gardens but also tennis courts a pitch and put golf course, basketball courts, ball hockey rinks and of course the indoor Macmillan Blodell conservatory.

Since it seems that parking anywhere costs a lot of money in Vancouver, it was a bonus to get not only free admission but also free parking.

“Beautiful gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Gorgeous gardens - from the roses to the lilies to the miniature firs - truly beautiful. Top it off with lunch at the Seasons in the Park - well worth it!

“Park in southern Vancouver”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

It was one of park in Vancouver which does not have entry ticket ( same as Stanley Park ). However Stanley park is huge huge area. Comparatively this park is smaller and easily accessible by sky train/bus combo from downtown Vancouver. You take the sky train for King Edward station. Come out of Station and take a bus for garden right outside station.Get down at third stop and you see this park on other side of road. You have to walk for about 1 km from main road ( before you enter the main garden of park ) but once in, it was so lovely and finally we had small consolation on not being able to make to Butchart Garden in Victoria. One square Km area of garden was full of beautiful plants and flowers with almost all spots good for taking pics. I would suggest visit to garden like this in place of Stanley park unless you want to go there to see Totem poles or running a bike on sea front.
