“Check out the Queen Elizabeth Tea house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

If you have dry weather-you can eat on their deck which most always has the gas fireplaces to cozy up to. Inside dining affords great skyline views. We loved the lunch experience.

“Vancouver's high point”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Queen Elizabeth Park is centrally located in Vancouver, south of the downtown area, straight up Cambie Street to 33rd. It has world famous gardens in the former rock quarry. Rock taken from this site over a hundred years ago, can be seen in front of hundreds of Vancouver homes...as rock walls and fences. The gardens vary from season to season, but are probaby best in the summer months. The water from the waterfall comes from the Vancouver water supply, just behind the Bloedel Conservatory. This is also well worth a visit. There is a fee to enter, but if you are into plants, worth a visit. There are many weddings and pictures here during the warmer months. This is a high point in Vancouver and much of the surrounding city can be seen from here.

“Great place to stretch your legs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We stopped here to stretch our legs before we hit downtown. What a wonderful park. Great pathways, easy parking, just a great park.

“Beautiful and centrally located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Another underappreciated "green" jewel of Vancouver. Its well worth a visit, especially in the spring to fall when you can enjoy the colours of the flowers or the changing leaves. Used to come here a lot to catch the sunset. Good place to walk around with family or a special friend.
