The building and its collection are fantastic. You see things here that you won't see in other museums, namely the totem poles, which we spent close to four hours looking at. The one thing I missed was more contextual information on the objects (specifically, baskets, masks, various tools, and so on). So many items are labeled simply "basket" and there is no available information nearby to say what the item was used for, or what the images on it or the materials of which it is made might tell us about its use. We left hungry for a lot more detailed information (which it's entirely possible most visitors don't want, I suppose!).
