“Engaging, fun, for whole family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

Initially seemed expensive,... But 3 times in a year and it pays for itself,... Not to mention the family can get in free to many other science centers and museums in North America.
My 2 active boys stayed engaged for 4 hours!
There are quiet spaces, active spaces, building, viewing,... Hey there is even a hollowed out giant cedar tree stump/fort in one area. We went back the next day for 4 more hours, and still did not see everything

“Love the updates”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

There was a lot of new activities since we last visited science world. We kept the kids busy and totally engaged (8 and 10 year old boys) for over 3 hours without even going to the Omnimax. There was more we could have done as well. The building displays were great for the boys and so much active, hands on engagement has to lead to a little bit of learning. If they don't learn, I do and can pass it along when the teachable moment presents in the future :-)

“Great for kids”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014 via mobile

My daughter loves this place. I find it over crowded and too expensive. I wish that adult tickets were cheaper. I would feel better about paying more for Her than me since the majority of it is geared for kids. By around two pm it gets very loud and there are too many people for me. I imagine it must be even more overwhelming on weekends. If you don't like crowds, go early.

“Large variety of exhibits, great for older kids and tweens.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

Even though our group included 2 adults, and 4 teenagers, our love of science was entertained at Science World. There were exhibits inside and outside. Teens and adults could enjoy themselves with dozens of puzzles. If you want to avoid the daycare and moms with young children, after 2 would be a good time to show up. When we first arrived there were hundreds of younger children scurrying around enjoying themselves immensely. We decided to leave for lunch and return with hopes that the busses would be heading back for afternoon naps before parents arrived to pick them up. We were right, and we were able to enjoy the exhibits for about 2 hours. In addition to interactive exhibits, there were several live demonstrations that were engaging and enjoyable.

“Interesting for all ages!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

We took our grandson and actually spent pretty much the whole day there. We travelled via the Canada Line and Sky Train which for him, was an adventure in itself. There is lots to see and do for kids and adults and places to get a bite or bring a lunch and snacks. There are different displays on the various floors as well as a wonderful place to play outside and go for a walk or bike ride. Great outing!
