“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW via mobile

We stayed at the Pan Pacific for one night after flying in from Nova Scotia and making the trek to Whistler. The hotel was beautiful and I cannot say enough about the convenient location. The room was nothing special for the price we paid, but was well kept and comfortable.

The Pan Pacific, Vancouver is a great hotel, ideal if you're connecting with a cruise. You can arrange to have your luggage transferred directly from your room to your cabin on the ship, just remember to tip the guy a few bucks for his efforts. Anyway, we had room 1211 deluxe harbour view, worth the extra cost for the view alone and well appointed, with premium linens and upscale bathroom accessories. The room had the usual facilities, clean and modern with large flat screen tv, coffee making machine and safety deposit box. I was a little disappointed to find some sticky stains on the bedside table and on the bathroom counter, but assumed it was because the maid had rushed her clean-up to allow us into the room well before the advertised check-in time. A minor disappointment is that wifi is an additional charge (from $1.95 an hour), I'd think that in this day and age, wifi is a requirement and not an option. There's lots of options for dining and it doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg, from a mall style food court accessible underground to a more expensive full service restaurant and a few other options in between (Starbucks and Tim Horton's can both be reached without going outside). Staff were very pleasant and helpful all around and it's safe and scenic walking around the area as long as you're not bothered by the occasional unfortunate homeless person trying to bum a few bucks. I'd stay there again anytime.

This is a great hotel. We chose it because it is adjacent to the cruise terminal. To get to our cruise ship, all we had to do was take the elevator down to the cruise terminal level and we were there!! The hotel was first rate, but the convenience was priceless. It also happens to be within walking distance of Gastown (about 3 blocks away) where we found a fantastic brew pub for dinner!!

This was my second stay. The first was last year for my husband's office party and this time was for a girl's shopping weekend. Excellent service, high end rooms, and a great location to walk anywhere! With my husband we walked all around Stanley Park. This time we hit Robson Street and Pacific Center. We got a local resident rate this time which was excellent value for the money. An impromptu fireworks show while sitting in the hot tub was an unexpected bonus!

Excellent location at waterfront, right where the cruises dock, couldn't be easier to board. The porters pick up your luggage in the hotel and carry it onboard the cruise.
Definitely recommend to get club lounge on 23rd floor, you have your own concierge, they're immensely helpful and nice. Especially thanks to Sachi and her colleagues for a great service.
Looking forward to coming back soon!!

We came for our anniversary and it was incredible!! They upgraded us to the deluxe king sweet!! Only down side was we could hear a baby scream at 630 am, seems like rooms aren't very sound proof. But it was such a refreshing stay. Buffet breakfast in the morning and spa was amazing!! Price of stay was ridiculous but we needed to indulge in the beautiful room. Best view of Vancouver you can have right over canada place and facing the North shore!! One thing we would have done is not drive but take transit because parking is 39$ a night.

This is a beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. Attached to the Convention Center and a short walk from the Olympic Cauldron. Our room on the 21st floor gave a great view of the city, and a partial view of the water. Very comfortable and quiet. Great experience overall. Walking distance to Gastown, the Seawall, and Stanley Park.
