...then this is a hotel for you!

positives:
- did i mention the view?
- great location, pretty much within walking distance to foods, tour buses/rides
- nice decks (i mean, the hotel decks where they put the giant sails)
- feels like you're in a cruise ship
- great valet service

negatives:
- dirty bathroom; tiny toilet
- room furniture looks torn and old
- rude frontdesk personnels
- the check-in counter, elevators, are somewhat confusing
- no free wifi (unless you tap into starbucks' wifi nearby by the entrance)

be prepared to bring loose change, it's Vancouver!!! parking needs to be handled by valet - they're quick & responsive. one guy that leaves a very good impression is Jason(?) - his picture is inside the hotel's elevators. a great guy.

Central, luxurious, an ever vigilant staff has helped us have some epic parties on our way through my old home town. The suites are wonderful, especially if you can get one with a terrace. Had a gathering of about 20 old friends for cocktails and a buffet. All planned and ordered with warm dishes etc and then the power blew out in the Downtown area. They managed to regroup a cold buffet with sushi, cold cuts and prawn cocktails while setting up with candles because of night and no power. Very good price/performance!

Went with my daughters and enjoyed the view of the inlet from the hot tub, the pool is warm year around the room service was prompt and reasonable for the hotel. Everything outside the hotel was was close by ...shopping and other restaurants =)

Visited Vancouver in July and was looking forward to the hotel we booked and have to say was not disappointed at all. A great location right in the heart of the city and overlooking the bay, it is within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas and Gastown area (a great place for bars and restaurants) Stanley Park is on your doorstep and well worth a walk through.

The hotel rooms are large and well appointed and have everything you would expect from a top hotel. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within the hotel and the standard of food is excellent breakfast is well worth getting up for. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I would certainly come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone who wants that extra bit of comfort and luxury.
