This was a return visit and I wasnt disappointed. Whilst BC liquor policy makes alcohol fairly expensive $48 for a bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2011 was acceptable and quite delicious.
Goats cheese flatbread to share was very tasty to start and my Halibut with spaghettini ,saffron and orange fennel salad was the best fish dish I have eaten for at least a year. Perfectly cooked and a wonderfully zesty mix of flavours. I gather the rib-eye was excellent.
No dessert but a couple of coffees brought the bill to $150 with tip which was acceptable if not a bargain.
This group of restaurants are particularly keen to hire the most attractive waiting staff they can find. Previously I have always felt that even if this was the case then the priority was still ability and I have always had outstanding service. On this occasion the service was OK but not special which was a very small quibble.
The menu choices makes chosing hard which is as it should be , If you like Calamari then I think this is amongst the best you can find anywhere. I will definitely be back.
