“The Mail Run!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

I had an opportunity to take a tour with Harbour Air during the week of September 16th 2013. The tour I chose was the "Mail Run". This was a fantastic way to see some of the Gulf Islands, land in tiny harbours and really enjoy the great scenery. The plane Harbour Air used was an old DHC-2 Beaver but what a great old girl! The pilot was fantastic, weather was great and all-in-all this was an awesome trip. One other thing I should mention, the Harbour Air booking staff at CXH was also phenomenal, in particular a young fellow by the name of Brian Grosse. I really appreciated his assistance with this booking.

“Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Booked round trip for two between Vancouver and Victoria. Enjoyed magnificent views of Stanley Park and Vancouver and arrived about 40 minutes later in Victoria's inner harbor, a short walk from our hotel.

We booked a half priced flight since we were willing to fly later in the day. Our flight was at 3:00pm but we arrived at Vancouver Harbor around noon since we needed to check out of our hotel. We checked in and were asked if we'd like to take an earlier flight at no additional charge. As a result, we arrived in Victoria two hours earlier than we expected.

The ground and flight crews were friendly and professional. Highly recommend this fast, scenic, comfortable way to get to Victoria.

“Weather dependent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Trip across was awesome although if you want to take photos, hold onto your camera, as they stow all luggage, including handbags and believe me, it is worth taking photos as the seaplanes fly quite low and you can see everything so clearly. A great experience and awesome landing in Vancouver Harbour. Ended up having to get ferry back to Victoria as seaplanes could not take off due to fog en route.

“Always Wanted to Do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

Several years ago while sitting in our room at the Pan Pacific prior to an Alaska cruise noticed the floatplanes in the harbor (o.k. harbour to non-Americans) and thought a neat thing to do. Thus on a recent cruise on the Diamond Princess down from Whittier we had two nights at Vancouver prior to returning to Whittier on the Island Princess. Our trip over to Victoria left at 11.40 and arrived 12.25 at Victoria. There we went over to the Empress and caught the tour bus for Butchart Gardens, the tour booked through Harbour Air. Our return trip to Vancouver Harbour was scheduled for 7.00 (the last flight back). When we returned we were able to rebook the 6.00 flight w/o any penalty charges. Our flight over was a single engine turbo-prop Otter and return was a twin otter. Both flights were fantastic and got some great photo shots flying over the suspension bridge leaving Vancouver (and some under the bridge leaving on the cruise ship.

“Wow - such fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

We flew with Harbour Air from Vancouver to Victoria and I sat in the front with the pilot. Their terminal is very close to our hotel - Fairmont Waterfront - and the check-in process was so easy. They even offered us free cups of coffee. The take-off and landing were perfect and our pilot Grant was very efficient and friendly. The day was a little misty but the views were still beautiful This was the first day of our three week holiday but I still regard it as one of the highlights. Thanks Harbour Air and Grant!
