“Vancouver favorite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

The Fairmont Pacific Rim is easily the best city centre hotel I've been to. Very high end, excellent product quality. Cutting edge guest room technology gives you insight into the future of hotels. Fantastic restaurant that specializes in locally sourced, organic product. Fantastic entertainment in the lobby bar. Great views from almost every window, with panoramic views from pool and spa areas. Make sure you stop by the coffee shop for a "sugar ball," worth every calorie! I would recommend this hotel to anyone with some extra change to spare.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in mid-February as a Valenties getaway. The hotel was abosulately amazing. We got an upgraded room that included a full jacuzzi tub with a view of the city. The room could not have been nicer. We also indulged in the Willow Stream spa - a MUST do! The massage was fantastic and they have outdoor heated pools and infrared saunas. A very relaxind day!

The service was absolutely amazing and everyone was very friendly. There was a mix up in our room service and it didnt come on time - but there was no issue - the staff immediated provided it to us for free. Great Service!!

I highly recommend this hotel!!

Prepared to be spoiled.
If you want to splurge and get what you pay for this is the hotel for you.
We got the Spa-package and got a really good deal because it includes a discount for spa services in the hotel and also access to breakfast buffet for free. The buffet is to die for. Everything is good. Try the sugar bun. It will taste so heavenly.
You have to pay for internet. They goofed and there was a delay in our check in so they offered us free internet and a late checkout.
The soaps and shampoo in the rooms is the best I've ever smelled. It was the first time I took some home with me.
They have live music everyday at the lobby.
One of the best memories I've had with my husband is staying at this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Your credit card might be sad but the memories you make will be nothing but happy and awesome. I don't regret paying for this place. Enjoy!

PS when they tell you have a water view- make sure it's not ever the Convention Center roof. That was an ugly roof too look at just so you can see the water view over it. We had to call teh front desk and ask for a different view. They were very accommodating. We got a partial view and we still got a good view of the water, the cruise ships coming in and the buildings. But it framed the water view nicely.

Room Tip: Get the Spa-Package. It's worth the extra penny. Dont' get a water view that has the Convent...

I stayed here recently and it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Private patio room was excellent, with a nice patio and outdoor fire. Room was excellent and I loved the television in the bathroom. The spa was stunning and I loved it. Outdoor pool and hot tub were nice and warm and I enjoyed the views.I cannot praise this hotel enough. Patio rooms can get a bit noisy due to other guests using their patios so maybe choose other rooms if this would be a problem. Patio room was dog friendly which I appreciated. Hotel location is excellent.

we were at the Fairmont waterfront hotel, and woke to a terrible drilling noise. It seemed the hotel was under renovation. We only had 2 nights, so didn't want to put up with the noise all weekend. The front desk kindly arranged to move us to the pacific Rim at the same rate. The move was easy and our new room at the Pacific Rim was spectacular! Very modern and extremely clean. The service was excellent. We would definately return to this hotel again. The bar in the main lobby area is full of action from happy hour into the early morning. Very fun.

If you want ever need to be taken care of as if you are the only person staying here then this is the place for you. The best staff out of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Fantastic food served at the eateries. Perfect location on right by the water,Canada Place and Stanley Park. The sea wall passes right in front of this wonderful hotel. It is worth every penny you spend there. The best hotel in the best city in the world!

Room Tip: Upgrade your room to a view of the harbor/mountains...well worth it to wake up to that view every si...

As Vancouver residents, this is the hotel we pick for a romantic evening when we need an easy escape. It's expensive, but luxurious, so it feels worth it. The rooms have iPads to place room service orders, automated blinds and lighting settings, and spectacular views of the North Shore mountains and water, Canada Place and the green roof of the convention centre. Decor is west coast elegant - dark wood, white sheets, cool colours - and instead of typical art there's a restful backlit scene of a forest above the bed. Room service options are varied and delicious, and the menu in Oru gives you a taste of Vancouver's Asian-influenced cuisine. Rooms are quiet and serene, and lying in bed gazing out the floor to ceiling windows at the mountains and water is the epitomy of a Vancouver experience. Even better, rooms with the Ofuro Japanese tubs let you sit immersed to your shoulders while enjoying the view. The spa is also outstanding, with outdoor hot tubs.
