“Very good wood fired pizza and salads”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

Opened right at 5 and this place filled up quickly. Yummy wood fired pizzas and salads. Great for our 2 year old too. She liked watching them cooking the pizzas. My father in law had a crostini and really liked it as well. Recommended and we will come back if in the area.

“Pizza and pasta with pizazz”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

This is a tiny local restaurant which was recommended to us - we had such a great time we went back twice. Wine list was exceptional and the food quality better than almost any restaurant I have ever been. It is not surprising that you have to wait to get a seat - there are no bookings here. Put your name on the chalk board - any wait will be well worth it - highly recommend the specials and pizzas.

“Excellent food for a neighbourhood bistro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Below the Times Square Suites on Denman/Robson in Vancouver, this small bistro-style Italian resto serves the most amazing food. The specials are always worth checking out and the desserts are luscious. It's home-made Italian at its very best.
You can't reserve a table, so get there early as it is hugely popular with the neighbourhood residents. Highly recommended.

“good pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

this place is in gastown. the pizza was good and flavorful. a nice atmosphere and a good variety of specialty drinks.
I will have to say that they need to cut the pizza before they give it to you. it is difficult to cut a 12inch pizza with a steak knife

“Wonderful Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

I definitely want to go back to Nook and we will soon. We were craving pizza and this one was their evening special . It had a thin crust and garlic, eggplant, light tomato sauce, cheese and a kick to it! You could really taste the hot pepper spice, but it was really tasty. The original had sausage but we asked for it without meat. It was one of the best Pizza's I've ever had in Vancouver!

It was Monday night and the place was busy with families, couples, special occasions and friends. There was a father sitting at the bar with his 2 year old daughter; they were both having pasta. It's very casual and almost always has a little line up; not usually more than 5 or 10 minutes.

I really like the looks and smells of the food on the table on either sides of us. This is another one of Vancouver's tiny Italian restaurants that really works. People love it!
