Booked hotel through British Airways.com with the offer of " Stay 3 nights, 4th is free!" Worked out at a very reasonable US$54 per night inclusive of all taxes etc. Rather let down with the parking fee of Cdn$12 /night + taxes for parking. Thought this a little excessive.
Stayed here in 2001 and have noticed that the hotel was re-decorated in 2004, though a little worn now in spots. What I really noticed was how the neighborhood has changed - seems much safer. The dingy hotel across the street was demolished and a brand-new Best Western built.
Check-in very friendly and smooth. Offered a choice of room facing Granville St. which we we were told would be noisier than a room facing the condo behind. We chose the room facing Granville - Room was ok and traffic noise not too bad. View was better than the back alley! - double beds instead of queen.
A+++++ to housekeeping - really serviced the rooms well. Nice to come back to a clean room.
Tried the restaurant on the first night as we had arrived late - seemed expensive. As we had kids, had the dining room all to ourselves. Unfortunately, only one staff on duty in the bar and restaurant. Ordered a smoked salmon salad - menu stated it was on rye/or cam with rye. When enquiring where the rye bread was, was told the menu had a typo! Why not tell the customer when they ordered? Good for late arrival, but better to go off-site.
Overall- great location for Granville island and Yaletown. Not too far to Robson Street. I would stay here again.
Good service and friendly staff. Occasionally noisy guests in the corridoor, but obviously not the hotels fault. The hotel is a little aged and worn, but clean. I would stay here again.

A good basic 2.5 star hotel in Downtown Vancouver. Easily access buy YVR Airporter bus. www.yvrairporter.com . Rooms a little tired but very adequate and clean and well serviced. We stayed 7nights and got a free upgrade to one of the suites. Perfect for long stays as it has a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, pots and pans, cutlery and a bit more room. FREE wirless Internet is the big bonus for us as we run a business and worked quite a lot from the laptop in the room. Staff very helpful and pleasent. Eaisly get to main CBD in 10-15mins walking and Canada Place (Harbour) in 20-25mins. Central Vancouver is Flat (no hills).

I stayed at the quality in as part of a stagette weekend. 4 other girls and I had an awesome stay at this hotel! It had a great location - within walking distance to granville island, and Robson street. As a local to the area I know most of the hotels in Vancouver, and I do have my favorites, so when this hotel was chosen for me, I was not too happy. BUT, it turned out to be awesome!! They have 2 parking garages, which is a major plus for Vancouver. From our room, (#514) we could see false creek and had a great view. The beds were SO comfortable!! I usually hate the rock hard hotel beds that most cheap hotels have, but these beds were heaven! The feather fillows and comforters were awesome too! I also had a chance to have a sleep on a cot for a bit, also VERY comfortable. The room was big (big enough for 6 girls to get ready in) and the hotel itself was very clean. I didnt see a single problem with the hotel. And I loved the shampoo and conditioner provided by the hotel, as well as the lotion- something I usually steer clear of in hotels. The price was AWESOME for a downtown hotel. The area is great, close to GM place, and everything you could want. It was very quiet, I never once heard someone in the hallway or on the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely will be staying here next time I need a hotel and will totally be recommending this place to anyone I know from out of town.

We spent two nights at the hotel with our two young children. The room was large and clean, and the hotel overall was quite quiet. It was excellently located for our walking tours of downtown Vancouver. We especially loved Granville Island, which was only steps away. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and found this hotel to be fairly priced for Vancouver (expensive city). Comfortable, good breakfast and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
