We were referred to ShuRaku by our hotel - it was just a few blocks and easy walk. We gave it a try for lunch it was around 12:33 on a Sunday afternoon - we did not have a problem getting a table and had excellent service. We had their lunch Gozen; seaweed salad and tea the cost was $29.62 - we were unable to eat it all. We returned on another evening at 7:36 PM and were told we needed a reservation - we put our name on the list and returned about 30 min later. We had a few more people with us and decided to try more of a sampler - Crunchy Squid; Salmon Tartar; Mirugai; Garlic Red Tuna; Saki; Ribs (FANTASTIC)l BBQ Squid and Tuna Isobe - the total bill was $88.45. I can honestly say we enjoyed every dish and felt it was worth the cost. Would definitely recommend - but if you're going at peak times go ahead and make a reservation.
