We went for an early Sunday evening meal. Because we were so early we had our choice of seats so sat at the corner window overlooking the street.
We wanted to try several dishes so we ordered the Chef's Table, which was $40 pp. This included two appetizers, two kebabs and 4 main dishes. I am not an Indian food aficionado so will just describe them.
The starter was shrimp marsala and a salad. The kebabs were chicken marinated in yogurt and barbecued lamb. The mains were a coconut curry halibut, yellow lentils, chicken and spinach and a lamb in a tomato cream sauce. All this was served with rice and cheese and spinach naan. There was also a desert but we declined as we were full.
I was really happy we went with this option as these are all things I had not tried before. All he dishes were very flavourful, but not too hot. I am sure they would have added more spice if we had asked but I did not want anything too spicy.
The service was very attentive. They took time to explain what was in each dish.
The only down side was the wine list. It was extensive but not well organized. Also the prices seemed rather high (they listed a bottle at 300, and we bought that same bottle at a different restaurant for 200, which is a pretty significant difference). That said they have wines to cover all tastes and price points.
I highly recommend this restaurant, but make sure you go there hungry.
