We went to Trattoria for something different for Sunday brunch, especially since it was my parents anniversary and my daughter wanted italian brunch. This proved to be a good choice.
The service was good. The menu had lots of variety and the waitress explained the dishes. The food was presented well and tasted good but there was still room for some improvement.
My daughter's pizza was good but she had skimmed milk which looked so watery, she didn't drink it. (young kids should be served full fat milk). My father and I tried two different eggs benedict served with Green Tomato salad. They were delicious with lots of flavours, but all of the eggs served were cold. My mother had the French toast served with fruit compote. Again tasty, but dry. She asked for syrup & they didn't have any (a bit weird). My husband had the breakfast pasta bake. It was difficult to work out how it matched the description in the menu, but it too was very tasty.
We had a good brunch and would try it again, especially if the eggs were served hot with the bennies. However, be warned it gets very noisy when the restaurant is full, making conversation difficult.
