“Romantic Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

We loved the service, the food was great. Salad was so fresh, so outstanding, ahi was perfectly "just seared", loved the halibut and scallops ceviche. Prawn dish was overspiced and overpowered the taste of the prawns. Don't miss the key lime pie. Yum! We'll go back for sure.

“Great service and location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

The standard and service of this Resturant was excellent and the food did not disappoint. Even the earthquake that took place did not effect the pleasure of the evening

“Looking forward to our next meal here...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

We had dinner here on the Saturday before Easter and enjoyed it very much. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table for quite awhile but the wait was worth it. So many selections looked tempting but we had been told the smoked wild fish chowder was a must have so we both ordered a bowl. Slightly spicy and full of perfectly cooked fish and vegetables , it lived up to its reputation. After that and a shared appetizer of smoked salmon dip, we were feeling full so we passed on the mains and had another starter each. My husband relished his fish taco and I loved the chickpeas that came with the very fresh calamari. Great wine selection as well.

I must comment on the service. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, efficient and attentive.

A good reason to return to Tofino! And I would definitely get a reservation next time.

“A real favourite in Tofino.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

Our favourite of the restaurants in town. Service is welcoming, honest and friendly and the food fantastic - fresh, local, healthy options and a welcome variety to a BC venue. The best in the area for vegetarian options. Great pizzas - we had these take out back on hotel balcony for sunset. Delicious thin crust and toppings. Excellent dinner too, with special melt in your mouth beef and a great quinoa and haloumi cheese salad. Wonderful, intimate and modern setting, with kitchen on view. A favourite for locals clearly as well as visitors.

“Excellent value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

British Columbia is not cheap, but we got excellent value when we went to this place for lunch. My wife had a very nice Fish Taco, and I had the Bison Brisket Ravioli, which was delicious. We also had some lovely cornbread, and a couple of very tasty ice cream/sorbets for dessert. All for $22. Service friendly and efficient. The cafe also has a good selection of chilled dishes etc to buy and take home.
