For this part of our trip we decided to stay in hostels. We were on a budget and this place ticked all the boxes. The building (wooden struture) was well presented, modern and very clean. The staff at the hostel were very helpful and ensured that visitors kept to the rules. THe self cook kitchen facilities were always clean and organised. Organised recycling and waste bins, cuboards marked up made you feel welcome to use everything they had. Coffee was always available as long as you put money into the honesty jar.
The dorms were brilliant, proper wooden bunks.very clean.
The hostel is a study centre and is located in tofino botanical gardens. vistors staying at the hostel get free entry to the gardens. The gardens were special but the best bit was that you were able to go the waters edge and explore. So serene, reflections of mountains are made in the water and mud flats. A bird lovers paradise
The location of the hostel is about 1 mile from the tofino village centre, but this walk is very interesting. Its about the same distance from the nearest beach.
