“Paddle in Grice Bay -- Phenomenal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

I am so glad that we chose to book a SUP tour with Tofino SUP as it was a highlight of the trip. Granted it was a perfect weather day -- no rain and sunny. We saw a few boaters in a distance but otherwise had the area to ourselves to enjoy the stunning beauty of the mountains and bay. We saw several juvenile bald eagles as well as adult eagles. Emory gave helpful tips for paddling and has high quality touring boards.

“Fantastic Paddling Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

Just had an amazing time on this trip - the canoeing was great fun (the canoe is super fast with 10 paddlers going for it) and the time on Meares Island was amazing!! The shear size of the trees is something to behold, and with a great tour guide like Natalie, it was a cultural eye-opener as well.

Great time, would highly recommed it to anyone!

“Awesome SUP experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Emery was our guide for a wonderful 3 hour stand up paddleboard tour of the mudflats one afternoon in late June. He was an amazing instructor and guide. We learned a ton about the history of the area while increasing our SUP skills through Emery's demonstrations and tips. The mudflats were calm and I felt confident on the board the entire time. The muflats are too shallow for boats, so being out with our small paddleboard group felt amazingly secluded. Bonus: it's a great workout without being super strenuous!

My family and I just spent the afternoon with Nathalie as she took us on a conoeing and hiking adventure. What a great host and thanks for sharing your culture and remarkable landscape knowledge with us!

“Don't miss this opportunity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

We have just had the most amazing afternoon, a 4 hour trip in the canoe that included a 2 hour guided walk through the ancient forest on Meares Island. Simka (I hope I got this spelling correct), our guide, taught us a huge amount about the history and culture of the people who have lived here for thousands of years.
Yes, by all means go whale or bear watching (we did this too) but don't miss this trip...
