My husband and I stayed in Tofino back in April of this year. What a gorgeous place! I also cannot say enough about the view from your room and deck at the Red Crow. My husband and I could honestly not believe the natural splendor we woke up to every morning. The water, the mountains, the seals, the baby bald eagles, the islands... I could just go on and on. We used the canoes a couple times a day and it was so much fun. The water never gets any deeper than 5-7 feet, so you never get scared. We stayed in the Queen room, and it was great, I have nothing bad to say about it at all. The owner, Stephen, is nice but he definitely stays in the background (which doesn't bother me one bit). Something really fabulous is that he makes fantastic, fresh breakfasts and he delivers it to your room, so you can eat on the deck and look at the baby bald eagles finding their own breakfast. The price is a steal and we left knowing that we will come back. Thanks Stephen.

This great inn is not to be overlooked in Tofino. Our room was a delightful corner room with breathtaking views of a nearly private cove. Dramatic tidal changes and early morning fog made for excellent bird watching and encouraged lazy mornings. The breakfasts were fabulous and graciously served in the room. There were even canoes to borrow to explore during high tide. We left enchanted and will absolutely be back!

We spent three nights at Red Crow over the Easter long weekend. The location is fabulous. Just 5 minutes from ‘downtown’ Tofino, the house is peacefully located down a long driveway right on the water. We were lulled to sleep and woken up by the sound of eagles, gulls and the ocean waves. The hot tub is located nearby amongst the trees, and it was wonderful for star gazing at night and watching the birds during the day. We stayed in the library suite, which had an eclectic collection that enticed us to put our own books down and enjoy what was there. The host left us to our privacy, but was extremely approachable to field our questions about the area and things to do. The room was well equipped with a coffee maker, bar fridge, CD player etc., including bathrobes for the trek to the hot tub. With hiking, walking on the beach, exploring the neighbouring botanical garden, whale-watching and indulging in the fantastic food in Tofino, we didn’t have time to take out the canoes – but we definitely will when we come back the next time.

My partner and I spent 3 incredible days here in March. The Red Crow is located in a spectacular setting. You feel as if you are watching some nature channel as everyday the tides change the picture. From our deck we saw otters, eagles, seals, and flocks of migratory ducks. The room, King Suite, was the biggest room we've ever stayed in. Our host was very amiable and ensured our privacy. The use of the canoes was an incredible treat as we spent a complete afternoon relaxing on a private island that we paddle to. Whenever work gets tough, I always think back to sitting on the deck and listening to the sounds and sights of beautiful Tofino and the Red Crow

We've just spent 3 nights at the Red Crow B&B and thoroughly enjoyed it. The host was suitably attentive and polite, not "in your face" which is certainly what we prefer. The King Suite was lovely in decoration and situation, and equipped well for an enjoyable short stay; terry robes, beach/hot-tub towels, beach mats, votive candles and holders, flashlight, a few games, a selection of novels and magazines, bar fridge, hair dryer in addition to the usual bathroom and coffee/tea making amenities. We borrowed one of the hosts 2 canoes and kayaks and explored the small islands between the B&B and Meares Island. We used the hot-tub situated a few minute walk in the old growth cedar forest and overlooking the water, at least twice a day. We found early morning and late night to be the most pleasing times. A good breakfast was delivered to our suite every morning at 9:00 consisting of orange juice, either fruit or fruit salad, fresh warm bread and a sophisticated egg dish all beatifully garnished and presented. What's not to like, especially with the winter 3 nights for 2 nights special!
