From the moment we pulled into the driveway and we saw the Cozy Cottage, we knew that we had a winner ! I had booked the Rainforest Room, which turned out to be the best in the house ! My wife and I loved the airy, roomy and bright room, which had windows on 5 sides, since it was built as an Octagon, but missing 3 sides. It also came with an attached ( en-suite ) bath room that had a nice sized tub nestled in the back, with large windows on two sides , with views of the rainforest bordering the Cottage WE never dropped the shades whenever we had our baths !
There was also a free-standing shower, making the Rainforest Suite as luxurious as a 5 star hotel's bedroom/bath ...
On the landing outside our bedroom, they was a cozy corner furnished with nice comfy chairs where we could have our morning coffee/ afternoon tea, all made fresh at the side-buffet that made this B&B such a find !
Duncan , our host cooked up some delicious breakfasts, with the aromas wafting up to our bedroom ....
There were 2 other couples who occupied the other 2 rooms, and breakfast together gave us a chance to exchange travel stories..
Our hosts Robin and Duncan were most gracious and helpful, and we felt at home from the start.
WE definitely recommend Gull Cottage, and, if you want to feel pampered, spend the extra money, and book the Rainforest room !!
