“Another great stay in Rossland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2010

I live in Vancouver and have friends/family in the Trail Rossland area, so I visit three or four times a year. I stay with the Prestige every visit. The staff are helpful and friendly- you almost feel like family after a few visits. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and well appointed. The new restaurant in the hotel does a very nice job of dinner too. Thank you to the staff for this visit and I look forward to staying again.

My Friends and I stayed at the Prestige for two nights so that we could attack the infamous "7 Summits". The riding was incredible and the hotel was great. Everything was super clean and the staff were very helpful. Very clean, great service and a good location - I would recommend this property to anyone headed to Rossland.

I stay at the Prestige properties whenever possible and enjoy them all. I particularly enjoy the one in Rossland - the staff are friendly and professional and the rooms are always very clean. I also appreciate the convenient location right downtown in Rossland.

If you are looking for excellent service and a clean comfortable room, be sure to check out the Prestige!

The Prestige is over priced and over snobbed. The ceiling actually caved in over the Hot tub while we were in it!!! Not to mention the Hot tub is pretty small and really foamy (gross!) to begin with. It has cheap furnishings and lacks in character and friendliness. Not worth the money. The Rossland Motel has very friendly staff, a GREAT Hot tub and the rooms are super cozy. Don't waste your money on the Prestige.

The hotel has undergone an ownership change and $3 million in improvements which really show. We have stayed at the Prestige in nearby Nelson which we have enjoyed. However, the
Rossland Prestige is better.

Reservations and front desk were great to work with. We were there for an anniversary and they really took care of us! Complimentary wine, cheeses, fresh fruits, candies that were of high quality. Much better than the standard hotel fruit basket.
Early check-in was a breeze.

Very personalized , efficient and helpful service, much better than in most major metro hotels.

We stayed in the French Suite, which is large, very comfortable and quite pleasant to be in. It is larger than it looks on the hotel's website. One of the more interersting suites I have stayed in. Some may think that it is a bit over the top, but the designers knew what they were doing and it is very nice. Minor personal quirk : Would have preferred a different shower head. Have never gotten used to the over the head rain forest showers.

The hotel is located right downtown Rossland making it easy to get around on foot. While we were not there in ski season, it is only about 5 minutes to drive to Red Mountain and to the excellent cross country ski course.

Hotel restaurant is quite good, with the food and service better than you would expect in such a small community. The beef steaks are exceptional! The portions are big, so don't over-order.

By interior British Columbia standards, this is as good as it gets and for that reason, I give it an "excellent." By comparison, in a large city, it would be closer to a pleasant and very acceptable boutique hotel more in the "above average" range.

I travel to BC regularly for business and was recommended to stay with the Prestige group of hotels. My first stop was Rossland. It had exactly what I needed, good wireless internet connection, great food in the dining room, very clean & comfortable room hotel room and friendly staff. I had a very nice stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in that area.
