“My wife and I have dropped off food here several times”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

The owners are a retired couple who have given selflessly of their time and resources to help injured animals and birds re-enter the wild. I brought a bird in that had been hit by a car, but unfortunately my bird died. . .If you are a compassionate individual you will be very impressed with the owners of this facility and what they are doing. If you are someone who spends his day playing video games, probably not as much. I truly appreciate this facility!

“To see the wildlife up close.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

The Golinias have been taking care of the shelter for more than 20 years, with the help of a few volunteers (with all kind of skills) they've dedicated their lives to the animals. All my respect to these people, they are very passionate about what they're doing for the wildlife.

If you want to come as close as you can get with some of nature's most majestic birds there's a facility especially build for the eagles...

Here are some of the species you can encounter at the shelter: Owls, deer, ducks, grouse, cats, hawk and bald eagles and probably a variety of others.

I would recommed to call before you go to schedule an appointment and remember that this shelther needs your donation in order to continue their mission.By the way 80% of the animals will be released back in the wild after their recovery that's what i call love, care ,commitment and dedication!

I will always remember the few hours i've spent with Mrs.Golinia, she has some of the most intersting stories i have ever heard.Hope to see you all again.

Bring the kids and don't forget your camera...

“Not open to the public”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

I have been to the Wildlifer Rehab Shelter, but it isn't open to the public. Currently the owners are not only taking in distressed wild critters, but are also housing ferral cats.
