“Just perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

Right over the water in beautiful Cow Bay. The rooms are lovely, the breakfasts are scrumptious and the hosts are charming and low key. All the rooms are different, and all are charming. If you get the Lighthouse room you won't want to leave! A couple have shared bath (less expensive).

I'd never stay anywhere else, given a choice. Book early!

We stayed here for 2 nights in July based on the comments from this site. As others have stated, it is in a good location right at the harbour, but the basement room we were given was very tired and dated. The breakfast our first morning was simple, but the second morning it was more interesting. We choose B&B's to stay in as we enjoy the chit chat with the owners, but this was missing here, and we were rather left with the impression that we were in the way.

At $130 a night, we felt it was way over priced - but, the location is good.

Gorgeous view of the harbour. A great location in Cow Bay. Lovely restaurants in walking distance and very close to the ferry. The rooms are simple and clean and furnished with sweet little antiques and vintage pieces. The family suite is very large with a queen bed, second bedroom with two comfy twins, a futon and adorable nook bed. Nice communal kitchen with all the things needed to make the basics. Breakfast was really delicious with lots of food. Amazing views for breakfast from the second floor. No inroom coffee but you can make coffee downstairs. A lovely spot.

The owner was waiting on us at 23:30 because we came of the late ferry from Port Hardy. He helped us with our bags and after a quick explanation of the room we jumped in bed. The bed was good, the bathroom very neatly. We had breakfast in a cousy kitchen in the upper floor. Some other guest, mainly fisherman were also having breakfast. Fresh caught salmon baked egg benedict style ! excellent. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and fresh bagels. Off course coffee tea and juice. The breakfast was very good

We stayed 2 nights and were informed about the sight seeings by the owner. We could imagine some people will expect a quiet place, but in the early morning most guest (fisherman) will go for fishing. At night is was quiet.

we had a good stay, will recommend this place to the younger people, who don't mind to get up early.

Great location for walks, quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. Views of the Prince Rupert Harbour look out to Queen Charlotte Islands. Food was fresh and home made by the owner. Very homey feel. Best room is the one off the kitchen on the top floor, large bed room overlooking the view with big windows and the bath room is large, with old fashioned tub. We would go back.

Room Tip: Top floor Corner Suite off to the right of the kitchen is the best room in the INN. Highly recommend...

Very lovely accomodation on the waterfront.
Tasty breakfast with a nice view of the water and little mountains.
The shared kitchen you can use is good open to all guests, you still have enough privacy though.
The hosts are friendly and even might invite you for New Year's dinner or ask you to join them for a hike. :-)

The Via train arrived 4 hours late so we didn't get to the Eagle Bluff until gone midnight. They were ready for us and we were quickly settled in. I must admit to being surprised that we were sharing a bathroom as I thought we were en-suite, but at least it was just outside our bedroom door.
The room was clean and bright and with fabulous views across the bay. We were on the lower level and so could open a door from our room onto the dock outside.
The breakfasts were excellent with lovely home made breads and muffins and eggs Benedict on our second morning.
There's an element of quirkiness about the place, but we loved it because of that.

Room Tip: Some rooms are en-suite, others share. It's worth checking if it bothers you.
