“quiet, informative, respectful of native cultures”

well organized - would love to have seen carving or mask dances, but were told they only happen for large (tour) groups - maybe a video??

“A superb building and museam”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

I understand that the museum was completed after much financial struggle - and for a mere $6, visitors are treated to an amazing piece of architecture, carefully researched exhibits of the early life styles of First Nations people and colonisers and a wonderful view of the harbour. This is a state treasure and it should have more financial support
