“Better than the average Days Inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Have stayed here before and had a good experience, some made a reservation for 3 rooms well in advance. Arrived in PG much earlier than expected so asked to check in early. They were sold out the night before but somehow at 11am they found some rooms ready for us. Big thumbs up there! There's a restaurant and a bar. Centrally located downtown. Not too pricey either. Would reccomend.

Do not stay here, period. It is located in a horrible location. In just an hour of being here we witnessed prostitutes selling themselves on the corner and drug dealings. One of them was in the hotel. There are a lot of shady characters walking around the parking lot. There was one man who was definitely high on drugs who kept walking around and urinated on someone's vehicle. We stayed up all night watching over our vehicle as we were afraid it was going to be stolen. The air conditioning in the room did not work as well so it was a hot and muggy stay as we starved for air from the tiny window. Stay away from Prince George, period, but if you have to stay, do not stay here.

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay with us. A quick call to the front desk could have solved any air conditioning issues. As far as our location, I wish I could pick up the hotel and move it somewhere else but I cannot. We try compensate with value and customer service. Again please do not let your trip to Prince George this time leave you with a bad impression, as the city is not as bad as it seems at first glance.

We picked the Days Inn from Hotwire.com using the blind selection. The price therefore was great. The hotel is located downtown Prince George which worried us a bit and the parking lot was a public lot - but the hotel gave us a ticket to place on our dash. The hotel itself is fairly modern and the room comfortable and clean. We arrived late at night so we didnt get a chance to check out nearby eating places. All in all the hotel was fine. We'd stay there again.

Price was reasonable and room clean. Nothing great just ok. Downtown area was a bit dismal. However, the front desk agent was exceptionally personable, friendly and helpful. He made good recommendations for food.

If you are looking for a good rate on accomodations and good sized rooms consider this place. I agree with some of the other reviews that it's some what dated, but considering the price I was good with that. I stayed here with my family on the way to Prince Rupert and I was so impressed with the staff and the assistance they gave us that I decided to stay again on the trip back. From the booking to the front desk staff and the security officer everyone was polite and helpful. I felt comfortable with the parking because they had 24/7 security, again no issues or troubles. The staff helped accomodate me with a special need I had for placing my coolers in their refrigerator. Next time I'm through the area I will stay here again.

Room Tip: Basic accomdations (no frills) but excellent staff and good value.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Clean room, good amount of space, nice staff (very helpful and friendly). The only downside is that the linens need to be replaced, a bit dated and not terribly comfortable. Just old. Needs a coat of paint everywhere. It basically needs a facelift decor wise to freshen it up but as far as a night or two stay it's all good.

Thank you for staying with us. We are aware of the linens and they are in the process of being replaced along with other minor upgrades.

If you're just looking for a comfortable place to stay, Days Inn is not bad at all. My wife and I stay at this hotel everytime we are in Prince George on business. Air conditioning is good, the room is clean and has standard appliances. Not very cheap but not very expensive either. No pool. You have to go to the aquatic center next door. Some times complimentary breakfast is offered. The place is in downtown Prince George but it is a very quiet area.

Room Tip: ask for non smoking room over looking the street or you'll find yourself looking on roof tops no...
