“Disappointed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2015 NEW

Went there with six others and were slow to be served. Menus were dirty with food and after 6 meals came out, the 7th arrive approximately 8-10 minutes later with cold fries to boot.
Three 6 oz. glasses of ordinary house white wine were $35 without knowing until the bill arrived (no drink menu provided).
All in all, a place that we visited twice during the off season and were pleased with becomes too busy for them to handle once the tourists hit town.
Disappointed to say the least!

“big disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2015 NEW

we have been to Salty's during off season and thought it great...but now not so much.
table of 7: menus as provided by the hostess were dirty.yes, someone's dinner on my menu, yuck.
bar service crazy slow...15 minute wait for drinks, then out of domestic beer and another 10 minute wait for a bottle of beer! 6 dinners brought to table then a 10 minute wait for the number 7. This last dinner was burger and fries....fries ice cold and unseasoned...what chef does not season the food? Angry chicken menu item served with grilled asparagus ...these was cold then covered in the yogurt hot sauce..a great sauce but should not be on asparagus. no wine menu provided so I asked for a simple pinot gris....no idea the cost but thought a house wine should be reasonable...6 oz glass $11.50..not good enough for that price by any standard.
appears that Salty's rides the tourist bubble..there have been lots of cosmetic improvements and everyone loves the view, these things will bring in the public but won't keep them coming back.

“Nice view of Okanagan Lake and right across from the beach.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

4 of us had an early dinner there with a good variety of food and drinks. We found their special drinks expensive (10.50) and beer was a bit cheaper.

Food very good and nicely served. Prices range from $13.00 up to about $25.00 so not the cheapest place on the lake.

“Come for the View, Stay for the Food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

Our off-season lunch was great! We sat on the upper deck and had a great view. But it was a little windy so the roof cover kept retracting. Kind of hilarious! The food was a good value and very good. The soup of the day is worth trying - mine was amazing. We also enjoyed the Jerk Chicken Sandwich, Fish Tacos and Salty's Classic Burger, each very delicious. And the fries (chips) were exceptional as well. We enjoyed the house wine but saw some other patrons enjoying some huge mixed drinks. Next time! And there will be a next time.

“Great view and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2015 NEW

3 of us ate here yesterday, we sat up top and had a great view, the service was excellent, the calamari was the best I Have ever had and I have eaten at a lot of places that serve calamari, it was mouth watering and a light batter, jalapeño and beans also battered, the mussels and sauce was delicious. The lettuce wraps were ok. I would recommend the calamari to everyone,
