Owner description: Nestled in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, Misconduct Wine Co & the Kitchen is a unique wine and gastro experience.Like any good speakeasy, we try to stay away from the ordinary. Join us for a glass of hand crafted wine or a culinary creation from our Executive Chef Abul Adame.- we'll see you in our tasting room, on the patio, or at one of our clandestine events. Misconduct & the Kitchen is the people you didn't expect to meet in a place you didn't think you'd be. When you find us, you'll want to linger. We'll have a glass waiting.

“This Kitchen can cook!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2014

If you have the chance to enjoy Abul's Portuguese tapas with Canadian wine, go for it. We were running late and called ahead to see if they would still be open when we arrived and, on an otherwise dead Wednesday in October, the chef hung around to serve us. There is a great patio overlooking the vineyards and the lake in the distance. On the day that we were there, they were racking one of the new whites behind the restaurant, giving us the chance to watch the action and talk to the winemaker.

The menu looked great but we opted to let Abul bring us a tasting plate. It was a great mix of flavours and was an outstanding, casual meal.

Let's hope that he's still there next year. Enjoy this food.

“Wow. our fave meal of the trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2014

we are late afternoon lunch/early dinner people and so happy we ended up here. I had found it on line and fell in love with the menu. we enjoyed a quiet afternoon on the patio with the view of the fields and the sight of where the 2 lake meets. we stared with a couple glasses of wine which progressed to a bottle. the menu is stellar...world class tapas. the chef is portugese and great. we had a few items from the eclectic menu with those lovely little bread loafs fresh from the oven. Squid, roast veggies, patatas bravas and a few others. beautifully plated and presented. the service was awesome and friendly. we ended our lunch at 5 at proceeded inside to to some wine tasting. the wine master was there and very gracious and entertaining. a taxi home was need for sure. we highly recommend this great great place. a must try.

“Great little winery!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2014

My husband and I went to this winery and really enjoyed the wine. They were selling off their older stock and you could pick up a really nice white wine for under $13 per bottle. They hostess was very knowledgeable and welcoming.

The Tapas were very nice.
My sister and myself are Celiac and can't have bread, so they brought us rice crackers instead.
Which was very nice, we were so surprised and disappointed that they charged us $8.75 for them.
We won't be back.

“Now this is fun! Try 'the Kitchen'”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2014

Second visit over a two year period. This is a fabulous informal restaurant called "the Kitchen". which I think is the highlight of the facility. Very hospitable, great server. Rolled in needing a meal and some relaxation. This hit the spot; exceptional server with regard to attention and rapport. VERY casual atmosphere on a nicely sheltered deck. Tapas approach, small plates were excellent.
