“Don't miss this local gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

We've been stopping here for years and it is consistently fantastic - awesome food, super friendly staff and of course, wicked coffee!
Great place to grab some local artisanal products to add to your picnic basket on your way up to Naramata. There's plenty of indoor seating for the winter time and in the summertime there's a big outdoor patio. Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch or an afternoon snack.

“Love the Bench!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013

Whether you are here on a hot summer day, enjoying an iced drink on the patio or a cool winter day with friends having coffee I would recommend this place to anyone! They have a wide variety of beverage and food choices which are always good, and they also have a small area of grocery items for purchase. Lots which would make good gifts! Only downside is the price, it's a tad pricey!

“lunch”

yummy squash soup - hot and spicy with sweet cornmeal bread - and an egg salad sandwich for the less adventurous half of this couple - great ambience - easy roadside parking

“Best Chai Latte!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

The Bench is a quaint place tucked away a little off the beaten path. Their coffees are yummy and so is their food. If you like supporting local and happen to enjoy healthy quality homemade dishes, then this is the place for you. The staff is friendly and there are all kinds of local food items for sale on their well stocked shelves too. I have visited a few times now and will definitely be back.

“Found! ..... Small Town Sparkle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

A friend recomended the Bench artisan food market to me a couple of years ago. I regularly visit Penticton/ Skaha for it's fabulous rock climbing and have consistently been coming back to this little gem. The highlights of this place are it's ever changing exotic, delicious and fresh salads, a delicious eggs benny (full or half order), local coffee from Summerland and an esspresso machine that pulls to perfection every hit. It's a busy place, but the staff don't skip a beat. They are friendly, fast and open to sharing great tips, including 'best climbing routes' and fun things to see around town. I've yet to be dissapointed. They also have a wonderful showcase of recipie books, local goodies and sell the delicius coffee they use.
