“Older motel very clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Location of this motel is the big attraction to me, right across the street from the beach, the rooms are very spacious, clean with a heated outdoor pool, BBQ included.

The beds are quite comfortable and it is very peaceful and we had a very restful night

Room Tip: I think they are all about the same but we did have a room at the back

We booked this motel sight unseen for a six day stay at the end of May 2014 to attend a wedding in Penticton. The majority of guests were staying here so we were given a group rate. We booked a three bedroom suite for our stay. No complaints whatsoever. Clean, spacious and great staff! The grounds of the motel were a court yard setting with the motel on either side of a heated outdoor pool. The weather during our stay was averaging around 23 degrees and sunny and we made use of the pool on a hot afternoon. It was really nice! Clean and warm! Lots of nice lounge / lawn chairs and umbrellas for sitting pool side. We didn't make use of them but there was scattered bbqs and seating areas as well on green grass around the pool area. Our suite was on the 2nd floor on the end so we didn't hear anything from other rooms. Just noise from comings and goings of other guests occasionally through the windows with the air conditioners in them. The suite had three bedrooms, two of which were air conditioned separately including an air condition unit in the livingroom. Very spacious. The location of the motel is essentially directly on the lakeshore (only thing separating was the roadway). We were in the courtyard but the front rooms faces the lake and would have great views. There are numerous restaurants around including a couple right next door. There is aslo a great beach convenience store on the first floor on the front with a gazillion flavors of ice cream and all the beach essentials you need. Views from the rooms in the courtyard include high hills in the background keeping it picturesques if you can't see the lakeshore. Definitely would stay again when in the area and will recommend to family and friends.

If your looking for a great place to stay, I recommend that you check out this Motel. The manager (Heidi) was friendly and informative. The rooms are clean and spacious with cleaning services once a week. If there was a problem with the room? it was fixed ASAP. Wi-fi is top notch and the laundry facilities are reasonably priced. Overall I felt like it was a Home away from Home.:)
This motel is across the street from the boardwalk that has been recently completed in Mid- January 2014. Its great for walking, running or taking your pet for a walk.

Room Tip: If you want to see the lake, take the rooms facing Lakeshore Drive, the extra charge is well worth i...

We stayed here aug 5-7 and had a pleasant experience. We had room 112 which has a kitchenette with a nice size fridge and apt size stove. Bathroom is a bit tiny but we weren't in the room much for it to be a concern! Bed was comfortable enough and had a great air conditioner in it. We liked the fact that all we had to do is cross the road and there was the beach! There are a few attractions to see as well as a few restaurants on the strip. Around the corner a ways there is a steakhouse which was delicious. A small downtown is withing walking distance with stores , coffee places and a couple more restaurants. Take the canal between the two lakes for a relaxing fund couple hours! The best part about this hotel is its location on Okanogan lake far superior I think as compared to lake Skaha at the other end of the canal. At the end of the day you can take a nice stroll along the walkway running along the beach and lakeshore dr. If you are expecting a hoytee toytee hotel this is not the place for you it is more a motel style! Perfect for the average family Just looking for a relaxing place with easy access to beach and no expectations! That being said my room was clean, comfy and very spacious at a comparable price given the season!

Stayed lately during September. Loved the location. The unit was recently remodeled and very comfortable, and clean. Right on the beach, lots all around nearby. Have stayed there many times, summer, fall, and winter, and have always been pleased. Pool was warm and clean.Terrific in the summer, close enough to commute to Apex in the winter. Most units have a pool view, the others are lake view.

Just got back from staying here for a week. Now it's not the most UP-TO DATE place to stay however the people here are wonderful. The veiw is spectaular, many nights we sat on our balcony and watched all the happenings from our room. The beach just steps away.

The pool was heated beautifully, it was well maintainred and clean.

This place is perfect so much so we have already booked again for next year.

We stayed here based on many positive comments....the location can't be beat but that's about all I can say....beds were like bricks. The room looked clean but our feet were black within a very short time. There were no towel bars near the sink so the towels had to lay on a dirty counter. Basically it was not clean, it was not comfortable, there was no storage, ancient fixtures . We will go back to penticton, but not here
