“Price of 5 star, feels like 3 star”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014

$250 per night for standard rooms. $350 for the suite. The hotel feels like a super 8 and needs a facelift.

The location is good and there are many restuarants nearby. There are only two nightclubs in penticton and one of them is at the hotel. The other club just down the street is better atmosphere.

Dear Guest,

We appreciate your feedback and considerations. Our prices are reflective of the season and fluctuate considerably throughout the year. In contrast to other hotel accommodations in the local area, our prices remain competitive, comparable and accommodating, especially when considering we are the only resort in Penticton located on Okanagan Lake, adjacent to Okanagan beach, with a fully licensed private guest beach, salon & gym facilities, three restaurants, and a variety of family and business amenities to cater to every one of our guest's needs. The convenience of our central location provides guests access to a variety of downtown boutique shops, cafes and galleries, while being a stone's throw away from world renown wineries and tourist attractions. We hope that should you come back to visit Penticton, you would reconsider our resort for all your destination needs, as we would be more than happy to accommodate you.

We stayed here last year for my Girlfriends Xmas Party, rather than driving home.Booked a Lakeside View Room.It was clean, staff was courteous and we totally enjoyed our one nite stay.Nice rooms. There are also a few different choices for eating in the hotel and in Summer, lots of Patios to choose from.it would be a great starting point for touring around Penticton and it's right on the Beach.

Room Tip: Lake view Room is best

So, arrived here after 8 hours of Torrential downpour, cold temperatures and Hail, coming over the Hope/Princeton Highway.
Not fun on an Motorcycle....

So checked in, parked the bike, and on my way through the lobby to the elevator, the front desk clerk (and I can't remember her name)...called me over and handed me 2 large towels to dry off with....she then proceeded to call a bellman, and have him meet me at my room where he would take all my wet gear (soaked inside and out), and have housekeeping dry it for me.

That pretty much did it for me.

It's close to everything, at the bottom of Main Street on the Lake.
The casino, was large and dated, but there seemed to be lot's of people enjoying it.
Lot's to eat and do in this place, but
Service that I rec'd was top notch and only wished I could remember this ladies name so that she can get the recognition she deserves. (afternoon shift, around 8 PM, I believe her shift was over at 10)

Awesome time here, quiet rooms, and views aplenty

Our family and friends returned again this August to the Lakeside. Great location and amenities. Front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Special thanks to Grant.

Terrific breakfasts at the Hood restaurant, a beautiful room right over the water. Thanks to Steve and his crew.

Castaways Watersports are fantastic. Very convenient. My boys couldn't wait to "Banana Boat" every day. Thanks Riley.

One reminder: this is a busy summer destination and they hire lots of students for many of the jobs. Service can be slow, so plan accordingly.

Looking forward to returning next summer.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the water have great views but are closer to the Barking Parrot Bar, a great spot with...

Spent two nights here this week using one of the business class options. Breakfast voucher and parking were included with a king-bed room overlooking the beach. I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived, but now that I've been a guest I would return in a heartbeat. Staff were great and came by with evening snacks of cookies and fresh fruit. The restaurant offered great breakfast options. The location is perfect, and there is even a private beach. This place is a great option for business travellers too. - especially lawyers as it's very close to the court house / business district.

Room Tip: 6th floor worked well for me

Stayed one night, Canada day in July arrived checked in to find hotel restaurant fully booked Bit disappointed they had not reserved for paying guests. Did us a favour though found a fabulous fish and steak house at end of lakefront sat outside on a glorious evening and ate like kings.
the celebrations were fantastic. And penticton lakefront we though had undergone a recent facelift very impressive resort well worth the visit.

It is situated very convenient: a block away from a city centre with coffee shops and better restaurants both food and service wise. The stuff is friendly and attentive, including housekeeping and those boys looking after beach towels on a private hotel beach. The rooms are clean and beds and pillows are quite comfy.

Wifi is poor and not available on the beach. There is a gym you share with locals.

There are three patios which is great and very convenient, next to a lake, except The Barking parrot bar's food and service is average, same about a Hooked M... Right on the water-marvellous, but service and meal should be better.

Go and try The Bad Tattoo (sounds too weird though) brewing company, that opened more than a month ago, just a block away and enjoy enthusiastic team of waitresses, a variety of beer, good pizza. On our second day we only noticed that beer is available and quite popular to take out... So we took it out and were back next day. Try and you will not regret. Mind I am not a beer drinker as well as pizza obsessing. My husband likes beer.
