“old but clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

The hotel is definitely nothing special. Very old but it was freshly painted, clean and beds were comfortable. Pool was cleaned daily. All three doors were sticking and hard to open or close. It was in the area we needed to be in for an anniversary party so the location was good for us. Right next to Cherry Lane shopping mall. We only slept there and stored our stuff while we were gone.
Air conditioner is the window type but it worked good and kept the room cool.
We would probably stay there again if we needed to.

If you are on a budget but don't want to sleep with bugs this place is perfect. We found this cutie on our last bit of stay and wished we had found it from day 1!! Everywhere else was over-priced and we even ended up with a bug infested room and was filthy. UUUGGGGHH! This place was a blessing to find!!!!!!! It seems ran by a polite family that will make you feel at home and you can relax and be yourself. Nice outdoor pool to swim in that I noticed was cleaned allot. The rooms are clean, adorable and somewhere I could stay a very long time. It's right in the heart of everything and you can walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. This family is doin' it right and you can tell they take pride in it. Don't bother going anywhere else.

Room Tip: I think the quieter rooms would be the rooms furthest from the office in the entrance. We noticed th...

This was my third time to stay at the Pass Motor Inn. I got a better room than before (more recently renovated). All rooms are very clean and home-decorated obviously by the owner's wife/family. Nice curtains and bedsheets treatments. Fridge and TV etc all work well. A/C or just open a window for the nice Okanagan breeze. There appear to be some year-round residents who are low-income, and some reviewers complained about this but I see no problem at all. They are nice people and mind their own business. Most of the people staying here are on holiday or else on working assignments in Penticton and area, e.g., construction crews, etc. Owners nice, cheerful, helpful and make sure the place is very clean.

Room Tip: I preferred my second-floor room on the south side. But earlier, had ground-floor on the north, and...

Clean, central, and relatively quiet even though it's on a main street. Did't hear a thing from the other guests. Very nice family run the motel. They have rooms with separate bedrooms so if someone snores, the other can get some sleep!

Aug 14 /13 Traveling with senior 83 years old This was a clean small non smoking 2 bed with a separate 1 bedroom with a open barred window decorated in black n white .It also was on the ground floor with a small kitchen ,fridge, micro there was a small flat screen TV. I used the outside pool .There was a BBQ and outside wood fired ovens for cooking. This was a very quaint n friendly staff run place . price was great ! No breakfast ,Tim Hortons, and mall really close.
The window in the front room didn't open. There was a/c but it was above my head and loud when your sleeping in bed in the front room. But this place really worked for us We will return

Room Tip: Back room away from main road Very Quiet at night

This is an older motel but clean and well maintained. Two double beds in each room with outdoor pool. Kitchenette consisted of sink and microwave only - not what we expected or useful. Overall good value.

Stayed here from July 29th to Aug 2nd. 2 women. Got the room with the double in the living room and queen in the bedroom. Room was spotless. Old but spotless. Both beds had memory foams on them. A little firm, but ok. Owners very nice!!! Pool was great! Not heated, so a nice temp to cool you off. The chairs and stools are so comfy! Pool was cleaned daily. Okay.. a few comments which gives it the "average" rating. They have some "monthly rentals" not sure how many. More than I thought though. You can tell some of the people living there could be on social assistance. One guy rides a bike, and goes out and collects bottles. If you look into this suite when his door is wide open, he's got bottles/cans every where inside. Another room, a lady was sitting on the "walkway" outside her room reading a book and smoking. Not sure why she wouldn't sit on the chair provided?? Overall... we were happy with the room and the stay.

Room Tip: When you drive into the complex from the main street, stay on the same side as the office is. We st...
