We have visited Penticton as a family for the past quarter century almost every summer. In all that time, we have NEVER stayed at the Best Western. This year, my wife and I (sans adult children) stayed for three days in the last week of July.
This is a mature property that has been refreshed, and from our experience, all to the good. The rooms are very well furnished and the amenities are first rate. The pool at the Best Western has been always excellent and the BBQ area and Frisbee golf and playground slides are very well received by visitors with younger families.
There used to be a full service restaurant here many years ago...like many properties, it is now a full continental breakfast self-service area. That being said, the outdoor deck is terrific and the weeping willows that frame the yard are some of the largest in the valley.
This is a well managed, pretty property and very nicely located hotel property. Someone has been taking good care here and invested money and time in making sure that guests return.
