Casa Sasso is a new entry to the culinary scene in Kelowna. The place is small and has a limited but interesting menu. Daily specials seem to be the best deals. My wife and I went there for a light dinner before a movie. As appetizer we shared a beautiful and tasty plate of Tomato Salad in a Parmesan basket served on a bed of Arigula. For main courses we had Shrimp and Zucchini Lasagne and the Salmon special. Both dishes showed originality and were well presented. We chose wine by the glass from a somewhat limited wine list.
Service was very friendly and a chat with the owner/chef made us feel like being part of the family. Definitely worth going back and testing more of the menu!
