“Take a hike. Up the Waterfall.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

We're not campers but visited friends who were. While one must pay for camping, the hike up the waterfall is free. Driving from Kelowna to the Fintry Delta and provincial park, passengers will be thrilled (or in my case, terrified) by the narrow, windy West Side Road with its vertical drops from the road to the rocks and lake hundreds of feet below. Whew! Let's fast forward to the Shorts Creek Waterfall at historic Fintry Estate. Take the 330 solidly built stairs up. Be first and take a photo of your friends behind you to appreciate the steepness of the ascent. Savour the views while you pause at strategically placed landings to catch your breath and the power of the waterfalls. Meander down the winding path. And be happy that you are on the land side driving home. A nice afternoon excursion.

“Great camping!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

This is a neat place for family camping...can be a little difficult to get the spot you want but well worth it..if you live in the Okanagan..it is almost like..."what lake is this?"...the water is great, swimming wonderful and overall, a really nice campground that does not feel crowded!

“Fintry Park Day Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Yes we camp at this park, we went for a day trip to this park. Very worthwhile drive, as we saw at least 40 deer in two hours. That in itself is very worthwhile. Fintry Park is very clean and well maintained and would highly recommend this camp site to couples or families.

“Lots of Natural Beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

I feel fortunate to live fairly close to this beautiful place. The camping area, and Fintry Falls are very nice, but there is lots of great backtrail hiking if you're more adventurous. One of my favorite spots is just at the edge of the south-central area of the park, Christie Falls ...amazing place. In the winter when(if) the falls freeze, it becomes a popular ice climbing spot ...in the summer you get amazing scenery which you'll often have all to yourself!

“serentity at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Fintry is a heritage site that must be seen during your travels in Kelowna. The falls are beautiful and the serenity of sitting right along the shores of the Okanagan Lake are wonderful
