After 2 attempts at this place I have yet to be served for wine tastings. My niece and I politely waited for our turns and they just would not serve us. I am not sure why, we were very well dressed, maybe because of colour. I hope not, but after been ignored twice I am pretty sure it is. I am sure the response from them will be "that they are not that way and they have a diverse workforce, and they must have been busy." I was pretty gutted to be ignored, yet again, once when my niece was16 and now at 18, she remembers both times. The grounds staff was very nice and the buidling is beautiful.

I am sorry to hear about your experience and the resulting impression it has left you with. Besides that fact that the issue you point out is not something we have ever seen any of our staff struggle with, it is also true that we have a diverse workforce, I myself am an example. The only other thing we would like to point out is that, the legal drinking age in BC being 19yrs, an underage person patiently waiting by the bar would never be offered a tasting. As your niece was 16yrs of age at her first visit and 18 the second time, this would explain why she was not served. In our experience, often the designated driver of a group is the one who stays with the underage persons of the group and the only possible circumstance that could have lead to your experience would have been this misunderstanding, never the less, we should have greeted you and offered you a tasting. I have passed along your comments to our Hospitality Manager but am happy to hear that you did find our staff to be very nice. We also appreciate your compliment on the building.Thank you- Anahita
