This is not a bad hotel if you are a tourist or just stopping over there. Premises offer the minimum and rooms have some cleanliness to them.
However, if you are considering attending a congress in Kelowna, this is the wrong hotel for you.
First, contrarily as advertised, there are no valet/laundry premises. I was attending a congress so it was important that I could get some of my "dress" clothes cleaned after a while, since I only had a few shirts and dress pants for 5 days.
I asked a clerk where the laundry facilities were, and she said there were no such things in the hotel. I asked if they had a laundry service and she said no. I then searched around the hotel for a laundromat, but couldn't find anything.
The next day I asked her if she knew where the closest laundromat was. She indicated one to me, which was 4 km away. I then did a google search and found one closer (1.8 km), but closed. The other one was too far to walk, so I went to a different hotel asking them if I could do my laundry using their coin machines. They said no and looked surprised the Travelodge doesn't have any laundry service!
So I went back to the Travelodge and confronted them about this, exhibiting a plastic bag for laundry service which I found in the room. Remember, the same clerk had just sent me on a 4 km walking trip to a laundromat! When confronted to why she didn't told me about the laundry service earlier when asked, she said that the "girls" (whoever these "girls" are) didn't like to do laundry and they might not do it.
Is this professional? I was lied to, sent on a 4 km walk, deprived of a service I had paid for, all because "the girls don't like to do it". And yes, all this, by adults. I got nothing else than a "I do apologize" and had to talk to the manager later.
Other than that.. the hotel is not bad, as I said, if you don't need anything. There are no exercise rooms, but a sauna, pool and hot tub. However, the sauna doesn't open until 9 AM so forget about using it before going to your congress..
Many rooms, such as the one we were given, have a door yielding straight on the parking lot on the same level, which is very noisy. This is actually like a "motor hotel"/"motel" set-up (you park your car in front of you room and so do your neighbors), and the name "Hotel" is thus very deceiving because it is a lot noisier than a hotel, with cars backing up early in the morning/late at night and skateboarders using the parking lot as a skate park.
