We thought that this hotel was the nicest place that we have stayed at in a very long time. We arrived late at night from Hamilton, Ontario and were welcomed very nicely and professionally. The person working found us a nice, quiet room - very impressed. The breakfast was awesome!!

Sayed at this hotel after reading reviews and got an excellent price using my BCAA discount. This hotel has only been open 3 weeks and is so brand new that it has that new smell. Stayed in a king bed suite with a pull-out couch. The only complaint would be that the AC was too cold and had to have the fan on only which was fine. The hotel itself was north of Kelowna and in an industrial area, but was only a short drive from everything. Everything was great , down to the complimentary breakfast. Would stay here again.

Brand new hotel - has been open only for a few months - a couple of workmen are still walking around with caulking guns. I was so disappointed that the pool was not open - not passed yet by the city inspector. It is an indoor pool with a 2 story high waterslide.
The room had a queensize bed and a second double bed (for the kids) - both were comfortable. Now the wow parts that you don't expect in a 2-star hotel - the room also had a 3 seat sectional sofa with an ottoman, two glass partitions between the beds and the sitting area (not much but looks really nice), a big desk with a leather chair, a wall-mounted 32 inch LCD TV (that pulls out and turns about 60 degrees), larger than normal bathroom with a very modern faucet for the sink, a nice size mini kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and single serving coffee maker (but no sink), and a safe for your valuables. It's very obvious that the hotel chain did not scrimp on building this hotel.
The room was very reasonable - CAD$135 per night in August with a discount for BCAA membership. Booked directly on the choicehotels.ca website so that I could claim the discount and not pay the travel agency booking fee.
Free breakfast in the morning from 6:30 to 9:30 (10:00 on weekends). This was deluxe - huge waffles, bacon strips, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, cereal, milk, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, orange and apple juice. OK so you have to make your own waffles - just follow the directions and be patient. And so what the bacon and eggs are frozen - they were real and the microwave does a superb job - my wife wants to know where to buy them at home. And the attendant was really nice - she kept it open until 9:45 to let latecomers get their food.
The location is quite a distance from downtown kelowna, but the area is obviously the place to be. Several other big chain motels are within walking distance, and the huge Orchard Park shopping centre is down the street.
You need a car to get around, and there is no restaurant in the hotel. But it will take 10 - 15 minutes to drive to the restaurants in the area.
The only other thing I did not like (other than the not-yet-open pool) was the air conditioner - each room has its own so it gets noisy whenever it turns on.
BTW - the Best Western Wine Country Hotel in nearby WestBank appears to be identical (same building, amenities, and pricing)

After exploring BC and Alberta we stayed at this new hotel on our last night before flying back to New Brunswick,Canada.
After a bit a of a rocky start with one front desk clerk, Carma (beautiful name) stepped in and smoothed things out for us. Carma was very professional, friendly, and knew the local region. We did enjoy the greek restaurant that she recommended.
Rooms were beyond our expectations. High ceilings, well laid out and very well furnished and clean. Granite throughout. Excellent bathroom and shower. Whoever designed these rooms deserves credit. A quiets nights sleep too.
Please note: Our amenities list review is not complete because we didn't have time to use most of them.
The complimentary breakfast the following morning was great and the lady looking after the well rested diners was very helpful and courteous.
Checkout went without a hitch. The young lady who checked us out was very friendly and professional as well ( I wish I would have gotten her name) .
This was a wonderful way to end our trip to British Columbia.

Great job!
